The Face-Off

Akira and Toro are always fighting for the best roosting places. In the computer room, it is on top of the bookcase where a cat can see everything and everyone. Toro sometimes gets to sit here when Akira is not about and he relishes the power. However, since it's first come, first served, he sometimes does not get it. So the next best place is on the open shelf of my computer table. On this vantage position, he effectively cuts Akira's path as she has to step on this shelf is she wants to get off the bookcase.

In this face-off, he decided to wait her out and the challenge can be seen here in his very stance and Akira's great indignation that she has to wait for him to get off before she can make her move.
