Sometimes it’s necessary…

You may be wondering what I am doing here and what this is exactly. I decided that I needed something of my own.
Sky was curious and wanted to sit in it as well but I told her ‘No, you would have to wait your turn’

It made me a little nervous as Sky is the boss of us. But I was glad she decided to wait but she continued to look at me. Oh dear!
After some time I got bored of sitting in the basket and gave it up. But by that time Sky decided that she needed to be somewhere else. I was lucky and glad that I stuck to my basket.

I saw her here, sitting on her favourite blanket. So now I could play in the blue tunnel.
It was a nice compromise. We both got to sit in it and San got her laundry basket back. All is well with us.

I got to sit here as well. I am much cleverer and I always make sure that no one is using this tunnel before I even sit here. I much prefer camping but sometimes it’s good to do other activities. Happy Sunday 🥰

An ordinary week

Tonight I decided to sit with san for a bit. Usually this would not be my preferred seat but I wanted to watch my sisters and to see if I could disturb them for a bit. I waited for them to eat their snacks and then scared them. Hahaha. They ran all over the bed and jumped on san. She was not pleased as she spent the whole  day doing up test papers for school and wanted to rest. She told us to keep it quiet. So we did but not for long. Unfortunately I got a little sick. San said I should not have run after my sisters so much right after my snack. She said it was karma. I don’t know what that is but I decided to prepare for bedtime.
We were glad  to have the aircon back again. It was cooler at night as san keeps the window closed for fear of insects flying into our room. My sisters just had a haircut so they were also very happy and didn’t sprawl in the middle of the living room much. The highlight was yesterday when the cable person came to fix our service. Sky was very friendly and chattered with him. I did not. I do not like strange people in my house. After he left, Sky and I inspected his handiwork. We were glad he left us the old cables to play with. We spent much of today just playing in the tunnel. San said she hoped the tunnel could last us until the end of year. We told her we would try not to tear the tunnel too much. We are very considerate kitties.

Just an ordinary Sunday

This is the bestest place to sit when the day is hot. It reminds me of our corridor garden except it’s much neater. The floor cools my tummy. But right after san took my Sunday pic , it suddenly  turned gloomy. We all hope for rain.

This week began quite badly for us as our aircon broke down. San had move  to the smaller room and we all slept badly. My brother Manju, who always does his own thing, decided to sleep in the big room by himself. He is very contrary that way. This was the picture she took of him this morning. He loves sleeping here where he could see and hear the Outside. But he totally disappeared a few seconds later because of the rumbles of thunder.
San took this picture of Momo midweek and as Mo had hidden herself this morning , she thought she would just post this one instead. Mo was curious at the sounds of people shouting loudly from across the flats. San said they were having a party and were playing a drinking game.

All in all san said we had a good week barring her asking auntie to put us in the small room when the aircon repairmen  came. Eventhough the repairmen know us, san said it was better to be safe. Mo started yelling as she was upset but Manju and I told her to be quiet. She relaxed a bit after that.  We survived the week without aircon and are grateful for it.

Sunday Not So Fun Day

Let me warn you Weather! I am NOT pleased at how hot it has been. I will be writing a severe note to your mother! Behave or else…

There were some days where it rained for a bit..a bit but the heat was still too much for us. San says next week we have to get our fur trimmed a little so we can feel better. Not Manju though. My brother Manju has short hair. He is a lucky cat. Mo has been lying in front of the open door all of today for the breeze. We had a little bit of rain but not enough to scare Manju so all is well. But still, I wonder when this will get better.
