Wonderful Wednesday

                                

This afternoon san came home early and we went out walking at about 4 pm. I was very glad and walked for a whole hour. 

   

                         There were a few sun beams but I was too busy

    

                                 Choosing the right blade of grass to eat

     

                                                            Investigating drains

                        

                                                       Resting and just hanging out and 

                                     

                                                             Hunting lizards. 

     

                                              I had a very good hour and I am glad. 

Wednesday Walk

         

This evening I went out walking. It's always quiet in the evening and I prefer walking at this time. Things also look different. I like it that way. 

                                

                           I am looking forward to MY walk san. When will that happen?

Wednesday Workout

    

Today san came home early, at about 4 ish. She rested for a bit and then she decided to take a nap. I decided to keep san company. I dun usually nap but I thought I would give this a try. You might notice the fan that is on the  floor near the mirror. San bought it yesterday as our ceiling fan went kaput after 6 years. It is supposed to ventilate the room. I really like it as it cools them room very well. I decided to groom before my nap as a mancat must  be neat in all situations. 

                  

Yup. This is one of the things that I need my long nails for - to hook them onto san's bed sheets. It keeps me steady and of course provide endless hours of fun for san as well. She sometimes have to sew the holes up. I am very careful to allow san to make herself useful. 

           After careful grooming of every part of myself, I decided it was time to

Wednesday Mystery

       

                This morning I looked for a sunpuddle everywhere. It was very hard work. 

      

          I saw the sunpuddle here yesterday when the orange fuzzball was here. Hmmmmmmm...

                        

Then I went into san's room. It was not here as well. san says maybe tomorrow as it rained this morning and the sun may not feel like coming out. 

   

San may be right as no one feels chirpy all the time. This morning I felt much more cheery as I got out early and got to oversee the morning clean-up chores. But Bujang chased me about twice. I don't know what that was all about. But I am not worried about Bujang as he is my brother and he sometimes feels like chasing someone. However I hope he would stop soon. 

Wednesday Whistles

                                      What is that san? I hear birdies!!

                            

An indeed it was true. I don't know what this bird is called but sometimes they come in pairs. They're tiny with curved beaks.  I know for sure it's the nectar that attracts them.

 A bigger picture. This one is yellow and green so it's well-disguised. I had planted these plants for the yellow flowers that would attract butterflies and we have ones that are yellow and black that come here. The flowers also attracts these little birds. The main reason I had planted them was I thought the butterflies and birdies would cheer up the kitties as they sit at the window. They used to look out into empty corridors before. Now we have the flowers and some more red ones that do attract hummingbirds as the flowers are tubular. 

                                     

Akira went for a closer look but got distracted by her need to groom. By the time she stopped the bird was gone. 

                        

                                 Oh well san. Time for a short nap under this pillow case!

Shopping

 Ok. I see something nice san. Maybe we can bring it up to our house. It looks like a better birthday present and much more entertaining. We can all play on it.

san: WHAT!! No! We can't bring this into our house Bujang. It belongs to the landing. I think its for the people in the houses to rest.

Bujang: Then why don't they bring it home?

san: Maybe its for a big party that they may be having.

Bujang: Ok then. You may be right.

 WOHOO!! Bicycles for sale! They're not? They belong to the people in the houses? Hmmm...

 I'm too tired to go shopping anymore. I need to rest.

 Am I shopping for my own present?

 Can we bring these pots and pans home? No? The people need them? Then why are they outside?

 I don't understand people. See san. This is my ball. I have it in my house so I can play wif it. People are strange to put their stuff outsid eoffur their houses.

Leave me alone. I am grooming!

Wednesday Thots

Bujang spent some time sleeping and sitting here. This is where Megat used to sleep at night as he felt safe in here. I have put Megat's soft toy in this cage for the kitties. I think they still smell him and sense his presence. Tanaka and Bujang spend time here on different days of the week. Ms Akira has investigated this space but has yet to sit in it.

Abundance

Our supply of food came yesterday. This is just enough for the four of us and the 3 community cats downstairs for about 2 months. They have an equal share as the amigos share 11/2 cans for the 4 of them (twice a day) and the community cats eat 1 can each daily.

Since the amigos like Applaws' Chicken and Pumpkin and Ocean Fish, I have bought them a few cartons. They also like Fussie Cat Tuna and Salmon, and Aristo Cats' Chicken and Tuna and Whitefish as well.

These days of cos, Megat eats whatever he wants, like Friskies Tuna and Mackeral and Fancy Feast Tuna. These days, he also gets no-grain Instinct Lamb (this morning) and Chicken, no-grain Taste of the Wild (salmon and trout) and of cos the pure beef puree (recommended by Dr L) with Whiskers' Beef and Chicken gravy in the syringes. He does not eat no-grain food by himself so I give it to him 'by hand'.

 Hmmmm..I have so many more choices to refuse....lalalalala...

Thank goodness I don't have to put these away. It makes me tired just to think about it. I would rather...

Words of Affirmation

I got the amigos new tags for our words of affirmation so every time we see any of them, we will think of the word as well. I believe that every thought I send out or even think will in some way affect everything that I do or indeed what happens to me :). So I got 4 words for the amigos- Joy, Peace, Courage and Love.

 If Tanaka has peace, Ms Akira would be much happier and he himself would be less stressed out with wanting to chase her always. I told him he would be our Peace Maker :)

Bujang is our BOSS but he is afraid of new things and thunder as well. So I always tell him that he is very brave in all things. When he sits with us, instead of under the bed, when there is thunder,  we also say it to him:. Now if only he would try to sit on his new bed :)

 Megat has Love as we adopted him from very dire circumstances and even now he will sit outside only when I am home. When I am at work, he would sit in my bedroom, enjoying the quiet as well. Now instead of grandma saying that she feels sorry for him (even now!), I have advised grandma and cousin R to always say 'Megat Sayang' (Megat Love) when they call him :) 

Ms Akira has Joy. I think she now experiences new joy of being with family and feels more relaxed and more courageous. She will even walk the living room when Megat is outside (with me).

Too much thinking will drive us all up the wall san....

Taking it easy

Sleeping by the window for the breeze...

On a separate note, we have embedded Laura's blogtalk radio for the pet psychic on our sidebar. She spoke to our cats last year and helped Ms Akira alot. We went to the osteopath for treatment and now Ms Akira is so much better.
