Saturday at home

We woke up to the sounds of hens. San said that the hens were the new bugs controllers. More and more places now have hens for this purpose

Still, it is better to have roosters and hens than to use pesticides. We wanted to look at them, but San said that it would be impossible because we live on a high floor.

We tried anyway when she opened the window for us that morning. The haze situation was not too bad, so we spent some time looking at The Outside.

Our brother Manju just sat on the bed, meditating. He is the thinker in our group, so San had to wait a little while before she could make the bed

Saturday with us cats

San got us another blue tunnel. The old new tunnel was given away as we wanted to get into it all at once. As a result, no one got to play in it at all. So san got this one again and one cat can sit in at a time. But now, san is worried. Why is no one in the tunnel?

Haze Update. The haze is not  letting up and has reached hazardous proportions. Special masks were given out. Not for us cats though. Only children, elderly and people with respiratory illness. Many people are up in arms as schools remain open. San has to go to work next Monday unless the PSI reaches 300. But parents can pull their children out of school if they wanted. . We asked san if she needed a letter from us. San said that would  be nice. It’s a pity we have no thumbs.

Hello friends.

We reminded that we needed to say hello to our friends and that she had forgotten to post our weekly hello. We said she should not spend all her time grading exam papers. San was appropriately apologetic and scrambled to find a nice picture. This was us on Saturday morning.  We were satisfied that our food supply came the night before and told san we would be taking notes of the numbers of boxes she had bought us for the week. We also sat here so we could take note of our neighbours. The little people did not pass by our house. We think their people did not allow them to play outside because of the haze. We ourselves were safe in our own house as well. We hope the haze would not get worse.

Saturday Report

San thought I should make an appearance this week as I have not be out for ages. I have been living quietly, in my new space, which is under the shoe rack. It’s the coolest space in the house. The haze report has not improved one bit and we have been indoors with hardly a window open. I told san someone should speak to Indonesia about it but she said we’re not important enough to do that. Singapore is now the second most polluted city after Kuala Lumpur it seems.  San is spending the weekend grading papers so we will all be safely indoors. It did rain for a-bit this week but not enough  for comfort. Hrumohfff!
