Don't think I am relaxing!

You never know what Ms Akira may get up to once she is fixated on something! She has decided that she truly HATES Megat. She can't stand the sight of him and I think today she could not tolerate him anymore.

In the middle of the afternoon, she jumped on him from the computer table and MOWERRRED at him at the top of her voice. Poor Megat did not know what hit him. I told Megat that the computer room is out of bounds, no matter who is in it! So he ran out to save himself. Ms akira, like the warrior that she is followed him out and jumped on him again! She truly believes that if something is worth doing, it should be done well!

After dinner, Ms Akira sat with me for a bit. Megat sauntered into the computer room. Like a flash she got up and stood on the computer table watching him. Thank goodness, Megat saw her just in time and left!

I guess some cats need a little longer to learn their lessons :)

Power to you Bujang

Zzzzz...

Bujang has been slowly taking back power from Megat. The last few weeks saw him being on the same bed as Megat, staring Megat down and he no longer runs frantically when Megat gives him THE STARE.

I first saw it when we were both just hanging out in bed. He was just sitting and minding his own business when Megat decided to try to scare him. Since Bujang did not start as usual, Megat was at a loss of what to do. I watched the two of them try to stare each other down and finally Megat decided it would be best if he did the retreating. From this point on, I think Bujang reclaimed some power that he lost.

Today, Bujang just decided he would sit on this cushion, which Megat had decided early on belonged to him. More power to you Bujang :)

Megat on the other hand has got more confident in other areas, like sitting with grandma. Nowadays he would actually make a point of going to grandma and requesting some attention. :)

Is nothing sacred?

It was none other than The Great Pretender Megat!



Toro decided he would tell Megat a thing or two about rights!

Toro was not happy when he came into the computer room and saw Megat on his throne. But being the clever cat that he was, he very calmly sat with me and then slowly came up on the 2nd shelf to investigate more closely. Megat was at first oblivious to this but after a few seconds, he stopped grooming and looked at Toro. The two boys had a quiet staring match after which Toro decided to turn his back to Megat and acted nonchalant. After about 1 minute, Megat came down from Toro's throne and looked for something else to do. Right now Toro is busy grooming himself on his favourite shelf and Megat is nowhere to be found.

I guess they sorted it out for themselves :)

Bujang trying to be as far away from Megat as possible...

This is the state of the amigo house :) Megat is King or he wants to be King and the rest apart from Ms Akira tread very carefully around him. Yesterday was the first time I saw Bujang retaliating when Megat tried to slap him. He slapped back. And with that I think things are looking up for everyone. Bujang and Toro play with megat sometimes, running and chasing each other. Then when things cool down and they walk past him, Megat would spring up and try to beat them up. Toro sometimes fights back. But most times they just leave Megat alone. Ms Akira is the only one brave enough to tell Megat off and she would sometimes go out of her way to remind him of who she is :)

Tonight I gave Megat NB Salmon and Tuna. He ate it enthusiastically and did not throw up. The rest got some Snappy Tom chicken as Ms Akira is now off fussiecat. Toro, Bujang and Ms Akira share a 80g can.

I got a new bottle of ARCferon for Megat. He knew he had to take his meds and he ran all over the house. Grandma had to help me hold him while I fed him his vitamins. He is a wily old cat.

Taking a break...

After Bujang had put his foot down, Megat no longer make mock runs at him but had instead steered clear of the Big Boss. As usual, Megat then decided that Ms Akira is fair game and he has taken to running after her instead. Its enough to make a woman bury herself under blankets forever! But she is holding her own and has had several near skirmishes with snarling fangs and warning growls.

Toro used to do this to her too until she made her stand quite clear to him. Now he makes half-hearted attempts at touching her. The worst thing that Toro does is intimidate her when she is making her way to the kitchen for dinner. But Ms Akira is a wily cat and she always waits for Bujang to lead the way and when Toro is busy trying to stop Bujang from entering the kitchen, she jumps onto the table and is safe!

This evening, after dinner, the boys actually had a short game of tag! Wah! Success!
