The Great Grey Stalker
Toro-the-stalking-lion lying in wait for the bird to come flying past...ssss....
Gotcha! No way you going anywhere else little birdie...
He is sometimes too goofy and would insist on looking under Tanaka's blankie for the bird when it lies just beside him...:)
This morning Bujang asked me to play hide and seek but of course Toro and Tanaka gave my position away to Bujang. We played for a few sessions and then Toro decided to ask me to get his favourite lure Da Bird. I know that he would go off to sulk if all the boys get into the game so we played behind closed doors where he ran and flew and generally stalked the bird, on the bed, off the bed and in behind strange spaces. Then he got distracted by a real pigeon and went to look at that. So I went outside to play with the amigos :)
Tuesday Games
Megat ready to strike....grrrr....
Crunch!!!
More crunching...
Its not so good san...but I like it better than the black thingees...
Megat was all reday to play this morning with the boys. He was running away from me all morning as he knows that every morning is a prednisolone morning. But we had completed his course of pred yesterday so today is merely going to the vet for the chemo (maybe) and haematology tests. He sneaked and stalked and generally crunched the lure :) The boys left him alone with the lure as everyone, Tanaka included, knows what turn -taking is. When the lure is in the air, its everybody's game but once someone gets it, then its not your turn :)

Hunting the hunter
So both of them know the routines and consequences. Added to this of course is Totoro's brave attempts to play with Megat. Toro accepted Megat quite readily as they had become friends so much earlier. Toro is veryone's friend really :)
Now Megat and Bujang play catch with each other and I do not have to separate them or go to someone's rescue. I must say all the boys have accepted each other's existence in the family. :) Phew!

Catnip mouse
I bought megat 3 catnip mice so that he would play by himself even when I am in the house. It was quite a success as he tore down the house running and throwing his mouse in the air and once he even carried it in his mouth. Unfortunatley after THAT one time, he has yet to repeat this mouse-in-mouth performance. I had ideas of teaching him to play 'fetch' :)) I was glad he enjoyed himself and he even ate some catnip which threw him into a daze :)
The other kitties looked at the mice with great disdain and ignored them and him. I guess they think they're too old for catnip mice. :)
