Ooh is that true?

Toro was very interested to see what happens next...

He was quite transfixed...

Nothing could distract him from looking at...

ANIMAL PLANET :)

Toro is now very good about his daily brushing. he often comes and asks for me to brush him but he has yet to learn to sit in one place. I notce that if I brush his tail, he would sit down immediately and so everytime he shows any sign of moving, I would do that :) Cousin R has yet to do this successfully eventhough she knows the trick :) I think he knows he can bully her as she is always the one who asks him to sit down to be brushed.

This evening, after his session, he was quite mesmerised by the sight of the Seringeti fox and family and sat there transfixed watching until the fox was off screen :)) Posted by Picasa

Watching Monkey World

Bujang listening carefully to the keeper about the marvels of garlic...

Bujang watching a capucin monkey smearing garlic all over himself...

Bujang trying to get into the act...

This was one of the rare times that Bujang sat to watch anything on TV. He was so fascinated by the monkeys that he came close to watch the whole garlic proceedings. It seemed that capucin monkeys love to have strong smells on themselves and so the keepers decided to give them garlic for its properties as antioxident and insect repellent - I guess. The little monkey on TV was once a captive and had spent all of its life in a cage and was not very adept at smearing garlic on itself. It got some in its eyes too and it kept blinking. The monkeys would eat a little and then once the garlic is wet , it would smear its fur with it.

I really like watching Monkey World on Animal Planet :)

Too much T V can make you blind

ZzzzZ

Before we bought the new TV, Toro would usually just eat, play, sleep, play..harass Ms Akira...sleep. You would never have thought that he could suddenly turn into ....

Lets watch the elephants in Thailand

a TV addict! He watches Animal Planet, Pirates of the Caribbean and even news!

Err..what's that grandma?

Not content with watching TV outside, he has taken to watching TV inside the computer room. Now and again I would hear grandma tell him, "Stop all that TV. You don't want to go blind with watching it so close."

It may sound funny but grandma is actually worried that Toro seems to watch alot of TV. She even asked me if his eyes would suffer from all that watching. I don't really know but I don't think so. Would it though?
