Bujang spent quite a lot of time just smelling the faint scent of roses. He did it slowly and delicately like he would do when he smells the ixora bushes. Grandma was worried that he might be too enthusiastic and break the glass vase but all went on quite safely. When all the guests had left, Toro made an appearance and was also attracted to the roses on the table. He took one leap and landed safely to my surprise as he had never managed to do this before.
Bujang is a Sensitive New Age Cat. He appreciates the finer things in life.
ReplyDeleteEh Toro has learnt to jump! He must have learnt from watching Bujang et al
Yah boy! I was surprised to see him jump onto the table!! I think because we had a table cloth then. But he was very agile and jumped twice! Wahhhh....
ReplyDeleteHow do you keep your fragile stuff like vases intact? Do you blu-tac them to the table top? We have stashed away all breakable items, cos our dear Kootoo lurrrrve knocking down the items and watch them crash.
ReplyDeleteActually kootoo and m&m, I don't have any breakables cos they've all broken when the amigos run after each other. That was why I was quite amazed to see them tip-toeing around the glass vase. I don't knw what came over the kitties. Possibly they have never seen roses :))
ReplyDeleteMaybe they realise something important was going on, what with all the cleaning baking and decorating.
