Peace to all and cats too

Ohh..it's all furry tiresome. ..

That Megat has somefing up his pawss...hmphff

I am just minding my own business...

After you teach that no-good kitty a lesson, you must compose yourself...

This afternoon, all the kitties were up and about. Even Shaolin Megat had some time for R&R out of his cage. He did not rear on his hind legs when Toro brushed past him. He merely looked at TunaBelly and decided to keep the peace. Toro and him were in close proximity several times under the table but he did not pay attention to Toro. He merely glanced at Toro and groomed himself.

Ms Akira got tired of being alone in the bedroom under her mountain of blankets and decided to take a slow stroll to see what the rest was up to. She actually deigned to sit by me eventhough Megat was in full view. She sat and yawned and looked about, feigning ignorance I believe. When Megat made a slow move to gently sniff at her- POW! The slap from her little paw was as qucik as lightning. One slap was all it took to get Megat back onto his duck-feathered cushion all over again. Once again Megat did not try to beat her up or to show who's Boss. He has either learnt his lesson or just waiting for an opportunity to get power over all of the kitties.

Bujang was of course above all this fray and sat in his basket in the sky looking at the birds and falling asleep. I have yet to see how the both of them would react when they actually come face to face.

All in all, it seems everyone has relaxed somewhat. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I still think that you and grandma are doing a fine job with Megat.

With 3 kittens found in Dec, I’ve learned that the fastest way to soften kibbles is with boiling water pour over and cover up for about 5 mins.

The next time Megat strike with his paw, maybe you can check if his claws are showing. I'm trying to relate my cats with my kittens. Dr E says if they strike with paw without claws, it's just more like "go away", be concern only if claws start to reveal.

    Hope these info helps.

  5. Ok Big ears. That helps alot. I will see if its just the paws and not the claws the next time he decides to tell any of the kitties off. Thanks
