The V_E_T visit was not so bad for Tanaka. He was a little afraid being at the V_E_T but later calmed down as there was no one else there except for us. We sat for 5 minutes and I chatted with the vet assistant and got the paperwork done. When the vet called us, we discussed his weight 3.95 kg, saw his excellent teeth, talked about his diet and habits and then she took 2 syringes of blood from his foreleg. He was very good and kept quiet. He actually gave her his foreleg as she was a little uncertain as to which one she should take blood from. He had a test to check his liver and kidneys as well as his blood-clotting test. He had a micro-chip too in case he needs to travel. Life is uncertain and you never know what might happen to you. Throughout all this, he was quiet and got many kisses from the vet assistant :)) He was an angel for sure.
The two bruffers who went to the V_E_T and came out smiling...
Megat came out very well indeed for his review. His numbers were all within range. Dr K actually exclaimed that she would not have known that he had kidney problems if she had not read his history. "How can a cat do so well?" she asked. I was just pleased that he was doing well. The only thing was he had lost some weight, though not much for me to be concerned. He is now 4.08 kg and the last time he came to the V_E_T's he was 4.4 kg. However, the important thing was, his blood test went well :)
Good to see all went well, and both cats are none the worse for wear. ;)
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear about Megat. He is looking very well and happy indeed. And I never knew he has a crooked tail!
ReplyDeleteAhh Rocket, already breaking girls' hearts huh?
