The cats' expression were priceless when they heard the baby cry. My niece brought her babay to visit and the amigos minus Toro were sniffing away. I guess they smelled the baby and she obviously smells only of milk. :) They went around the baby and settled a little distance away just to observe the bundle of moving hands and feet. But when the baby cried, they immediately came close to observe. Ms Akira even came out of the room to inspect the baby. My sister said they may be trying to communicate with the baby and they could sense her distress. Possibly.
Bujang went a little distance as possibly he could not stand the decibels. But he sat at the door of the room looking at her intently, with his ears at attention for every sound.Ms Akira hung around looking at the baby until she quietened down. Toro was nowhere to be seen as he was a little wary of suddenly having so many people in the house.
Maybe the baby cries stimulated Miss Akira's maternal instinct, and Bujang is like a man, running when it is time to change nappies.
ReplyDeleteHahaha..you may have hit the nail on the head, esp in Bujang's case. He just sat near my door looking at the baby while ms Akira actually was looking at the crying baby with great interest.
