I know that catnip is used for many things when you have a cat and I have used catnip to train my cats to use the scratcher, to like their new non-interactive cat toy (cos they think I should be their 24 hour slave) and the like. But my aunties told me that we have our own version of catnip and it used to grow wild almost everywhere. It has flowers like purple 'cattails' or some such. The cats eat it for all ailments that only 'they' would know. Would anyone know what these plants look like and where I could get some?
