Her very bare tummy can be seen clearly here. It looks red but she is not in any pain at all...

Just grooming in the morning...

Ms akira is getting much bolder these days. I think its the Bach 6 and the fact that both grandma and I have been very conscientiously putting the 3 boys in the room for an hour a day so she can walk out calmly. Sometimes she asks to be let out and then I would have to make sure the boys are in the room. I am glad that she asks to be out everyday and when she has had enough, she would go back into her room. Then we let the boys out. I don't think its a great hardship for the boys as they have the whole house to themselves all day.

I am also giving her omega 3 from flaxseed oil for her bare tummy and over-grooming on alternate days. Megat gets some too as Dr l said it was ok for him. She doesn't like the flaxseed as it is a little bitter. Maybe I would mix it with a little honey for the Ms.

My Sunday

Ms Akira on high alert for the boys...

Ms Akira spent the whole day in the computer room which is a great improvement from her self-imposed confinement in grandma's room. here, she would have at least one other kitty with her, usually Bujang, her best bud. However even Bujang sometimes shows her some aggro as I think he has not seen her for some time and has forgotten her existence. These few days, he seems to understand she is one of us and he should treat her properly :) He shows her no aggro and she lets him alone.

Today, there was Megat sitting with me at the computer and even Tanaka. So she saw almost everyone. The only one who attenpted to give her grief was of course Tanaka but she slapped him and growled at him. He scrambled down from the cupboard in shock and has not entered the computer room since but I know he would recover and tomorrow the whole thing would begin again. But at least, she is willing to be part of the family again. I hope this new behaviour would continue but with Ms Akira you would never know. :)

Ms Akira went on a short trek..

She walked along the yellow beaches full of blue starfishes...

And scrutinsed the ocean :)

It was a tiring trek and after all that she sat and rested and cleaned herself... :)
