It is quite a sight to see these 3 boys sitting so calmly together. Rezki's favourite place is next to the trolley as he can see the goings on in the kitchen easily from there. He also has a good view of the territory and he thinks he is hidden from view. Tanaka's favourite if of course by the door for the birds and the breeze. It is Bujang who has now taken up a new position in the centre. Usually he is somewhere else, hidden from view but watchful. I think it is his message that even with IVD, I am still THE BOSS.

Monday Memories of Sunday

                         

Yesterday san brought us out for our walk in the afternoon. We have not been out any time last week as it was the first week in san's schedule that she went back to work and she was tired. We were very tolerant of this oversight but we were glad we began walking again. 

This was upstairs. I like walking up here as there was much stuff to look at like shoes and rows upon rows of clothes on the line. This was a very artistically pruned plant. 

San cleared the corridor and removed some stuff from here. This was because she noticed the both of us being furry interested in this space. Now it's just nuffing! I don't know why she has to spoil our fun like this. 

                         

I went downstairs and looked at some bicycles. They were not in the best shape  though. I wonder why humans have so much junk outside. 

                               And I went upstairs. It was furry good exercise. 

Then afterwards, Bujang and I rested wif san on the bed and all of us had a good Sunday nap. 

Amigos Monday

                                     

With a gentle touch of her paw, Ms Akira told me NOT to mess with her blankie. So my hand stayed here for about 10 minutes before she decided I had learnt my lesson. 

                                     

                              I told you she is a naughty girl san. NOW do you believe me?

                                    

                                     san: You  are not an angel either Rocket Tanaka!

                                   

            Tanaka: OKOK.... You may be right but right now, a little more to the left please....

Mad Monday

Not for me thanks. I don't have to go to work.

                

Be careful at work today san. I will think of you from home. Yes. Grandma says I can sleep on this bed for as long as I want.

Monday Musings

This Monday I decided to let san sleep in as she is on vacation. I think she deserved some sleep, well until its time to breakfast. 

This fuzz...my brother was just too lazy to get up. He rolled about even though san was ready to give us something to eat. I tell you, sometimes I don't know what gets into him!

My sister was much better although she got a little distracted by what she saw at the window.

                                                      It was a bird!!!

                           No san. It didn't want to come in. Not even to play!

                    

                  Oh well. It's time for breakfast. Monday started a little later for us here.

    

         Later on, we will just get on with our lives. We will begin with a marathon nap session. 

Monday at home

                     

Monday came to our house slowly but later it became too scary for Bujang. He is all of 7.56 kg and sometimes mistaken for a small dog but he is afraid of strange sounds, especially thunder. This morning, a man came to our corridor to sweep and clean it. Bujang immediately hid behind grandma until he went away. Then he sat here wide-eyed wondering what will happen next. 

                        

                          After he saw the man leaving he sat here for a bit and had a nap.

I will be bringing him to the vet next month  for his annual checkup. This is always a stressful time for him as he hardly ever goes to the vet and he gets very frightened, which means he will very likely try to bite the vet or use his very long claws. I am thankful that even though our vet practice has now separated from ARVC, where Dr Ly is, we still have Dr Tay, whom Bujang likes more than the other vets. He also needs a blood test as he has not had one for many years already and since he is 10 this year, it would be something that is good to have. The practice now has an ultra sound machine, an X-ray and they can do minor operations. They have day care but not night care facilities. It looks spanking new. It seems one of the vets is a cat specialist but Ms Akira saw him and she refused to have anything to do with him. She likes Dr Tay though and behaves well with Dr Ly. 

        

                                   You can try San but don't expect me to cooperate! 

If push come to shove then I would have to bring him to see Dr Ly in Serangoon. It's far away from our house and I do not want him to get more upset with the long trip.

      

In other news ...

       

Our new wheatgrass came last night and this morning birthday boy Tanaka had a good chomp on it. Bujang prefers to be hand fed wheatgrass but Tanaka likes to eat it on his own. 

       

               Ms Akira is relaxing in her room. I am surprised she has not asked to be let out. 

                            

Tanaka pretended he didn't care one way or another what Ms Akira was doing. When he saw me with the iPad he pretended to stretch and strolled away to eat some grass. Before this, he was watching Ms Akira through the grill for hours.

He has the word 'peace' in his collar. It is our wish that he makes peace with Ms Akira before the year is out but I think it will be some time yet. Although he is not so obsessed with her now, he still watches her and would run after her if he sees her outside. Ms Akira does not get hysterical when he watches her from outside the gate anymore so that is an improvement as well.

Can you please stop. It's making my head spin. (He pretends not to see me but he is watching my every move!)

This san will not stop until I look at the clicky thing.  Maybe I will give hur a chance. Just this once.

Monday Moods

When Monday comes it is best to think of what we did on Sunday especially if you're a kitty. 

Of cos a cupcake is good if you're the kitty's person. 

Here's to Monday everyone. 

Oh No! Monday....

 I am staying here as long as I can today.

Its better to have  a hide-out Akira. The haze may come back tomorrow. The fires in Sumatra are still burning fiercely and the wind may not be in our favour tomorrow.  Its time to close our windows and doors again and no more walks outside.

      

                 And an update

Megat is feeling easy after his morning 12 ml of puréed beef and gravy. He did eat some tuna on his own but not enough to keep up his strength although he sleeps most of the time. He is not as bony as before but we will be going to see Dr Ly this Thursday and we will know more of what to do. I has given him 1.5 ml of duphalac and even that is too much. I am trying various combinations as sometimes I give him 2 and there will be hardly any poo at all.
