National Day

We went out this morning in our red bus. As it was our National Day, we also had a small flag. Most people looked at us in surprise and one driver actually stopped her car and said 'So Cute' when we were at a carpark. The morning was quiet and Rezki and I had a good time watching the Neighbourhood.

Morning Walks!

On Tuesday I went down and ate grass. I was very happy to get out of the house...
I explored some drains that were dry. san would not let me in a wet one as she said I would then have to take a whole body bath. I think dry ones are best as I get to roll o dry leaves. I like the crunching sounds that come with it.
I sat looking at people walking. It was quite restful. I went down for a whole 45 minute walk. Then I had to go home as san had to go to work.
Yesterday I told san very loudly that I wanted to go out but san said she had to take Toro to hospital. Then suddenly san took Toro out of the carrier and I got in. I don't know what happened but I was glad to be out a_g_a_i_n.
I stalked some birdies!
Sniffed at this tree. It was quite interesting.
Then I used it as a BIG scratch board. WOWEE!!

I also got to roll about on the hot pavement. I didn't mind san wiping me down a bit. It was worth it!

Morning Walk

Bujang was yelling the whole morning and so I brought him downstairs at about nine-ish. He spent quite a happy time walking
and eating grass. The grass was long...

and looks juicy because of all the rain were had been having. I was glad for Bujang as he got to eat grass from the ground rather than wheatgrass from the supermarket. I was told that there are some places where they sell wheat grass in pots but I have not been able to find any.

Bujang looked quite longingly at the open space and spent some time ruminating if he should even venture out there...

Then he suddenly decided and went up the easy way. No stairs for him!

A moment of indecision. To go or to stay...

After half an hour, he decided that he had enough as there were more and more people walking about. I managed to persuade him to get into his carrier and was surprised that he actually agreed. He allowed me to clean his paws and then he decided a nap on the new blanket was a good reward for his morning walk :) The both of us had quite a good morning to be sure!

Tanaka's Sunday

I fing it is dangerous san...

Let me fing about it ...my whiskers tell me there are strange fings outside...

Ok. I will try fur you. My ears can hear all kinds of fings...I know you are here...but...

Ok...look right...

look straight... it looks okay...

but I dunno...maybe...let me sit here for a while...I need to make a plan...

Tanaka was very uncertain of the outside. I brought him to the park but he didn't want to go out as mamy people were out in the morning. He sat for 15 minutes in his carrier although he looked out intemittently but did not get out. I decided to wheel him to another void deck where it was more quiet. He decided that it was much safer there and walked out after some time. He looked left and right and left and right, went into his carrier, came out and finally he sat on the low stone 'bench'. After that, he had 2 adventures...

C'mere birdie...

What's that san..I hear somefing...

Whoa! Close-up of those fings I always see outside our window...what's that san?
A mynah telling him that there was no way he was going to catch him!

Tanaka chattered uncontrollaby...c'mere..c'mere...c'mere...I only wanna see you...

Mynah. YOU are a CAT. We don't forget THAT!

Tanaka and FatBoy

ngom...ngom..ngom...

Fatboy minded his own business with eating the salmon kibble. I had placed the kibble on the floor as I did not bring any bowl with me. Fatboy ate quite neatly and so I didn't have much trouble clearing it away when he finished with it.

And who might you be eh....

FatBoy was very curious at first when he saw Tanaka and came to take a look. He sniffed quietly and quite serenely. No feathers or fur got ruffled. Tanaka to his credit remained still most of the time but he let out a hiss or two just to tell FatBoy he was not afraid!

Okie. You sit still in there and I will sit here - right infront of you...whahahaha....

FatBoy decided that he had made his message to Tanaaka pretty clear and walked off to find other amusements..

Tanaka kept watch until he could not see FatBoy anymore. I had to wait until FatBoy decided to go as if not, he would have insisted on following me home. On our way home, we saw Minah contentedly grooming herself. She didn't see us and so I quickly wheeled Tanaka home. If she had seen us, I would have to stop and feed her. Minah does not take to strange cats in carriers easily :)
