Hello Ms Akira

Bujang on the lookout as this was the first time in many years that Ms Akira made an appearance out in the evening...
She looked out at the world...but yet safe inside the house...

She sat on the couch and contemplated the evening...


She rested for some time...

Then she took a nap.

On Monday, Ms Akira decided to pay the family a visit. After many years of not sitting with us in the evening, she graced us with her company for the whole evening, walking about and visiting with us. We were all very pleased with her. Unfortunately she has yet to repeat this historic visit alhtough I had tried to put the boys inside the room after dinner several times this week.

Night smells are different....

These days Ms Akira gets the run of the living room after I put all the boys in the room and Megat in his cage. She always gets very delirous and would spend the one hour running back and forth all over the living room, sometimes playing with the rubber ball that she found in the cat tunnel. She would streak across the room like lightning, chasing it over the sofas and under the chairs. Then she would sit right in the centre of the living room to groom herself. I think she misses the freedom of being able to do anything she wants as Tanaka would always get on her case and Toro is untiring in his efforts to bug her. I am glad she has this one hour just to be herself. :)
