Easy Peasy Sunday

This had been a frantic week for us as the school term has just begun. San had to attend many meetings and that was why we didn't get to walk outside for many days and therefore we did not have many outside pictures. We spent a lot of time napping as there was little to do when san was not home.
San and I took a selfie yesterday. This was taken in the afturnoon. I always sit wif san when she is in bed reading in the afturnoon. We have quiet chats where she tells me how much she loves me and that I could love my sisfur as well. Yesterday there were some shenanigans and my sisfur screamed. I got timeout but it was worth it. Ha!
I do not know why Tanaka likes chasing me. Yesterday when san left us alone, he came to sniff at me but I screamed at him loudly. You can see from our collage that I was the only one with many things to say. But later things calmed down as san put Tanaka on timeout. He is eight years old. Surely he is old enough to know better. But I still wonder why he is so obsessed!
Here I was helping san to see which of her clothes were good enough to be given away to charity. She gave away many that still had price tags on them. I don't know why she bought them if she was not going to wear them! Tomorrow is Youth Day and a school holiday. Some university students are collecting clothes and books that they can sell later to benefit 2 organizations who need funding. San has been giving away a lot of her stuff last month. I  was helping cos I wanted to make certain that she gave ONLY her stuff away and not ours! She used to give carloads of our stuff away but san said they were going to shelters so I guess that was okay. But now we do not have much stuff and I do not think she should continue to give away OUR stuff. I always help her to do these things.

Last night san and I went for a short walk along our corridor. The picture was a little hazy as san did not bring her glasses with her. Although  it was a short walk I was very pleased. The corridor is brighter at night than the daytime. It's true that Singapore looks like a jewel at night as the Council makes sure that all housing estates are brightly lit between 7 pm to 7 am every day.
                                             Have a good Sunday everyone!

Easy Peasy Sunday

As usual our best days are in the collage. We had some days outside which we enjoyed and our inside days were spent just lounging about. Ms Akira spent some time alone and some time with me on request.  She likes for the both of us to sit by the door and just relax looking at the world.
Yesterday san found our hammock that she had hidden some place. She replaced the fleece and put it out. I was the first one on it and tested it for hammockibility. It was furry comfurtable. San puts it close to the family space so we can rest and be with our people and still be alone. I like it that we have choices.
This was the first time I was on the hammock. I don't really like it when my feet do not touch ground or when I feel 'up in the air and rocking'. It was actually not too bad and I could actually rest in it safely. (After the first 10 to 15 minutes, he has not been on it again!)
As usual, san took our picture. She said its a good family portrait of two boys together.
I also got some lap time. But these days I prefer sitting outside eventhough san was inside the room. Lap time is usually done inside my room when san works at the computer or she reads on the computer chair. I don't sit on her lap at any other time.
By the way, today is the 1st day of Ramadan. San woke us all up at 4.30 am and gave us somefing to eat. The she had her pre-dawn breakfast of chicken salad and tea. We all had our usual breakfast. It was too early to do anyfing and so I am taking a nap on my hammock. I am glad cats do not have to fast at all unlike the beans in the house. Have a good Sunday effurybody. Time to zzz...

Easy Peasy Sunday

PThis is our Sunday picture. We are glad we could have new pictures for you, except for the one on the bottom right. San did not take many pictures of Ms Akira as she was in her room for many hours.
On Saturday we got to go out but in the afternoon it was so hot that we felt like napping. We napped until the cool evening. The hot season is here already.
Bujang told Fern that his new red harness felt tight around his chest but he was willing to endure that as long as he could go walking. So I decided he should just use his new green harness. He was even willing to pose nicely in it. Now we have 2 boys with green harnesses.
Tanaka was very tolerant when I had tried to take his pictures and I thought this would be a good one for Sunday. He has put on a little weight. He now likes sitting in front of the house so he can be outside and still see what goes on inside. He is a real Snoopervisor.
Ms Akira was quite curious about the essences this morning and sniffed the box and the bottle. She is more relaxed these days, even when I was not home. But she has continued with the overgrooming and now even the top of her thighs are bald.

               Our guest kitties from Mersing.
This mother and son were busy doing what families do. They followed us around and finally the mother settled to nurse her baby. She is very small. The owner of this guest house takes care of them and feed them with fresh mackerel and rice. I think the cats here are just one family as the other 2 have the same coloring. This guest house was in the middle of a big padi field so maybe it's more difficult for cats to get to. The other one that I stayed in was by the road and so much easier for cat to come inside looking for shelter and food.
Have a good Sunday everyone. Now it's time for breakfast.

Happy Mother's Day

We want to wish all mommies, a happy Mother's Day today.

I took this picture with san yesterday. I would usually sit with san when she sits in the computer room. But for a few months I did not do this at all as I wanted to be outside. Yesterday san took me to Adrian, my osteopath and when we got back she put me in the computer room to rest. She then came in to listen to some videos and so we sat together after many months. It was my Mother's Day gift to san. I hope she liked it. Adrian said I only have a little blocked ear and I am fine. He adjusted only one vertebra and I am only going back in September.
Sunday is for more naps. I know I am safe and sound with my bruffer and sisfur and grandma and san. Happy Mother's Day effuryone.
We should all be kind to our moms today. Happy Mother's Day to all mothers, especially our mother san and san's mother grandma. When I am meowing loudly win the afternoon, the human beans in my house tell me that when my mother, san , gets home, everything will be better. It is true as when she gets home she talks to me and plays me my lullaby at night with my name in it. So I think all mothers are special.
Ok san. I have said all that you think I should for mothers. Do I get my breakfast now?

Easy Peasy Sunday

Our lily has just flowered as well and so we thought we would give it pride of place. This week I had brought the boys out walking and so I thought its good to have them in the Sunday best pictures. Akira had spent the week inside the house hanging out in the cradle, under the pillow case and on top of the fridge. She wants to be outside longer and longer which means Tanaka has to be inside longer as well unless he leaves her alone in the kitchen, which he is learning to do. So this week the only time he had the harness on was when he went out walking and not when he was out with Akira in the house. We are all learning how best to do this but I am glad it's working out a little ( as of course he sometimes cannot help himself or forgets) even though it is very slow.
The sunpuddles in the morning are not so hot. These puddles are pretty as they are always broken by the pattern of our corridor garden.
Sunday morning brought the boys together. They were waiting for me to open the door so they could have breakfast but as long as they had to wait, they might as well wait by the window for the morning whiffle.

Akira likes to look outside for the neighbour and of course for the inevitable morning rush. She is not afraid of these noises. She seems to welcome them and would rush to the door if she hears anything happening outside.

"There are always things happening outside, san."

Although we would love to have more rain, it warmed our hearts to see the sun glinting on our brothers.

Sunday on Monday

Yesterday all offur us went walking outside. This was furry special as san does not usually walk all offur us all in a row like this. I fink it was because my sisfur wanted to walk outside and she hardly ever wants to go out in the morning. She is more of a night kitty so san decided to give all offur us  a  treat. She is sometimes quite OK like that.
Here my sisfur was showing off that she can also be furry brave in daylight...
She sometimes bites the orchid. I dunno why that is as she has purrfectly good grass in the trays.
This is out usual pit -stop as all offur us like wheatgrass. If you're thinking the grass looks better than usual, it is. san decided that she would buy them instead of grow them as the hot season is here and all the grass that she had tried growing wilted and failed. So she called some wheatgrass experts and they brought the grass to us. She has to give the man special papers that she takes form her bag. She is trying to persuade me to eat the grass from the tray and it is slow-going as I like my grass in pots! san says "Tanaka, they're the same..." but I don't fink so.
Yesterday I was the only one who walked the whole length of the corridor as I am BRAVE! My sisfur walked only a short distance before she got spooked by some kids and she ran home. This is me looking at my neighbour's garden.
This is me inspecting our garden. I saw a fat lizard but he escaped! Too bad lizard. I know you're here so watch out!
Then I waited for the laundry man to pick up our laundry.
My bruffer likes these plants. He likes the smell of mint.

All in all our Sunday morning was furry good. I have to fank my sisfur for asking to go for a walk but shhhhh...dun tell hur anyfing.

Snooperoonie Sunday

We went out quite early this Sunday. san took us out in turns except for our sisfur Akira cos she is more a night kitty. Megat does not go out at all. There was much to smell and look at. san told us to hurry it up but we said "It's snooperoonie Sunday san." Sometimes humans need a lot of patience. It's a good thing we can teach her that 4 times over !

Not So Sleepy Sunday

Ca we take a walk san?
and so we did. Bujang ate grass and before we knew it...we had an observer!
A little tabby was watching us from the 2nd floor...
It was Comot- a pet cat that was also an outside cat. He is  friendly guy and has a silver collar. But his person lets him out all day and sometimes all night as well. It could be dangerous for the little fella but the residents know him by sight and leave him alone to hang out.
He is also curious and came close to Bujang. Bujang was quite relaxed in his carrier and didn't hiss but I do not know what will happen if Comot decides to come close when Bujang is out of his carrier though. It was quite an eventful Sunday for the three of us.

My new love

This is for me. I am the only one who uses it all day and everyday. It has my name on it.
When the man brought us our foods, san opened this up for us. It was love at first sight. xxxxx
I immediately sat in it so no other kitties could. This one is MINE! It is our own cat couch!
I can sit on it, lie on it, sleep on it and of course rest my chin on it! I can do anything that a human bean does on theirs!
Hmmm...maybe san could get us  a bigger one since I would lie to have all of my body and feet on it as well. Maybe I can persuade san to use her plastic money and the 'puter! Hmmmm..work to do on Sunday!
