Sunday outside...
The boys spent some time outside. Bujang and Tanaka enjoyed it tremendously. I was a little worried about Toro but he plucked his courage and made it safely outside although he was never too far away from his bruffers. He is getting his courage back slowly but surely.

Trouble in Paradise - drama in 10 takes
Toro came by this afternoon when I was at the computer and decided he would do something drastic to Megat. I think this was payback for all the times Megat had intimidated him and fought with him for space. Megat is no pushover and now I know Toro is not one too :) I let the two of them decide and just watched and took pictures of course. It was over very fast but I think the lesson will be a very good one for the both of them.

Tanaka's Sunday
Tanaka was very uncertain of the outside. I brought him to the park but he didn't want to go out as mamy people were out in the morning. He sat for 15 minutes in his carrier although he looked out intemittently but did not get out. I decided to wheel him to another void deck where it was more quiet. He decided that it was much safer there and walked out after some time. He looked left and right and left and right, went into his carrier, came out and finally he sat on the low stone 'bench'. After that, he had 2 adventures...
Good morning FatBoy...
When are you going to feed me? Did you bring anything good?
This was the first time I managed to get a nice clear picture of FatBoy's handsome face. His eyes were not the same size but I could see nothing wrong with them. They were clear and bright. His whiskers were not of the same size though. This was the first time I had noticed it after 4 years of feeding him dinner. I must say he is quite a handsome boy.
Can I ask you for a favour?
He jumped up the bench and asked me for some scritches and we spent some time talking to each other. I should have been better prepared and should have brought some wet tissues to clean him up a bit although he was very clean already. There is no such thing as being too clean!
Tanaka and FatBoy
ngom...ngom..ngom...
Fatboy minded his own business with eating the salmon kibble. I had placed the kibble on the floor as I did not bring any bowl with me. Fatboy ate quite neatly and so I didn't have much trouble clearing it away when he finished with it.
FatBoy was very curious at first when he saw Tanaka and came to take a look. He sniffed quietly and quite serenely. No feathers or fur got ruffled. Tanaka to his credit remained still most of the time but he let out a hiss or two just to tell FatBoy he was not afraid!
Tanaka kept watch until he could not see FatBoy anymore. I had to wait until FatBoy decided to go as if not, he would have insisted on following me home. On our way home, we saw Minah contentedly grooming herself. She didn't see us and so I quickly wheeled Tanaka home. If she had seen us, I would have to stop and feed her. Minah does not take to strange cats in carriers easily :)

Investigations
Sniff...sniff...sniff...Private Eye Tanaka was on the prowl again as usual on Sunday. Unafraid of the watery dangers that might make other cats anxious, the PI slowly and steadily proved himself unshakeable. After all he had much experience with the watery stuff from watching the woman aka grandma at the washing machine so much so that he would be banished into the room whenever there was laundry to be done. But undaunted, the intrepid PI went on with his business. After all 'anything' can happen to our drinking water!Hmmm...

I is not working this sunday!
Toro's fur is looking rather unkempt so he has to go to the groomers on Monday since I do not have to be at work then. I am taking him to PS instead of F as I only want them to trim his fur and not shave him. It too hot to have so much fur, eventhough I'm sure he would look very good if I let him grow his fur out. But this is not going to happen any time soon as he refuses to allow anyone to brush out his fur and a matted persian cross is a very bad idea.
