Super Sunday Morning

I had a good night’s sleep and so did san. I used the bin in the bathroom and didn’t need the peepad. I woke san up at 5.43 exactly for breakfast by singing her a loud rock anthem. She had no choice. This is my 19th day with IVD and I think I can take care of myself pretty well…except I tried to jump up the coffee table and fell breaking San’s fav coffee cup. But she told me that it was only a thing and didn’t matter. She brought me outside as she knew I wanted some attention and wanted to see the morning after the rain.

This is me outside my neighbour’s house. The man is a good gardener. The cabbage (san thinks its cabbage but it can be something totally different) is magnificent so I sat under it. San allowed to sit only for a bit. She told me we didn’t have permission so we couldn’t sit for long.

I am doing well and didn’t vomit like the day before yesterday so san thinks it’s not part of the IVD. She knew from reading about it that nausea and vomiting can also be part of this puzzling illness. Thank you for always having me in your thoughts.

Easy Peasy Sunday

We were at the park around 7ish this morning. We were glad to be there before the sun got too hot. There were many people running so it was safer for us to be in our stroller. This is my favourite park when san used to bring me for walks but now we only sit in the stroller as san suspects that I got sick from walking about here.  Just as long as I do not walk on the grass, san thinks its ok.

san made us take a picture here as she liked the way the trees look. She was waiting for the man in red to move away but he suddenly began to walk about in circles so she just took the pic. When I saw the picture I told san the man in red was a good addition. We had a nice morning and we are grateful for that.

Sunday in the park

We were at the park quite early but the sun was already out. san was very pleased that she managed to trick Rezki into getting in the stroller although he made a fuss throughout our whole walk but we didn't mind. There were only 4 of us - myself Bujang, Tanaka, Rezki and Popps. Akira stayed home as she is a homebody and dislikes being outside . Rezki kept chatting with the other park users much to san's amusement and we saw many runners as well. But it soon became too hot for san and we had to go home.

Easy Peasy Sunday

Our Easy Peasy picture for today was taken this morning when the day was cooler. I brought Bujang out for a short walk and he had a good time examining the corridor garden belonging to the neigbours. Tanaka also went for a short walk and enjoyed the smell of  soil in the pots, not so much the plants. The other three just relaxicated in the house as they do not enjoy the outside. I think Popps and Rez have had enough of the outside (once Popps told Fern that 'it is a hard life outside') and Akira has never enjoyed the outside even when she was a kitten.
I had not brought him out to walk as he had the intermittent sneezes for a few months and I did not want him to breathe in more dust from outside. But he really loved this garden and scrutinised every leaf.

Easy Peasy Sunday

Today we are posting two pictures. Te first one is of Rezki. We think this is his best picture to date. He is very playful and has learnt to take turns when playing with Bujang. Tanaka to my surprise is still very hesitant with him and would run off when Rezki tries to play.
Our second picture is of his nemesis. She really goes out of her way to yell at him and had confronted him twice. Fern and I had been trying to persuade her that she is family and as family it would be nice if she helps him find his own family. I don't know if this helps at all but she was a little  calmer this morning and did not try to scare him when he was in Akira's cage.
