Conversations with my cats

I asked san why she has not blogged.

I have been busy trying to get some order eversince I have got back to work. Times are hard and work runs after me.
I fink san is trying to pull a fast one on me. I am a cat san, not ignorant! Tsk. Anyway why is the black cat running after me all the time? I find it furry strange that he wants to play with me...hmm..hmm
No reason bujang. I think he is trying to get to know you better. I think the ling zhi has given him all that energy. Don't you like playing with him?
NO! NO! He runs to you when I chase him..grrrr...Its not fair!

I have been running after bujang and toro but they all run away from me. Why san?

Because they are not used to you suddenly running silly. You used to sleep all the time. Give them some time to get used to it.
Anyway, I dun fink I want to see Dr L tomorrow. I dun like the hospital and the injeksions. I want to stay home..please...
No..no. You have to see the doc and get the injections..if you can. I hope you can get the chemo Megat. You had had two weeks of rest. :)
It is NOT fair!

I don't like the black cat san. He is always beating me up. Who does he think he is? This is MY home you know. Its NOT fair!
Yes I know Toro. But give him a break. You don't have to let him do it. You can try to beat him up too you know...

and now I am putting my scent all over his bag...he has to go tomorrow cos THIS is his bag. Mine is the blue and hard one. Hmm...I hope he gets well even though he beats me up all the time. He is our bruffer...

Bujang got quite a shock at the sound of the kompang...

Rain notwithstanding Sunday saw many rainbow Malay weddings and intense drumming. The amigos were not pleased and their ears pricked like antaennas with each drum beat. We also heard the kompang singing Arabic songs at the top of their lungs. Bujang captured the amigo reaction best - What's that!?

Saturday Mornin ...

Well san says that as I look very purty I should tell this Saturday mornin story...ehem.... Toro had a haircut but we have no pikshurs as he keeps running away from the camera. I am not afraid offur the camera so my pikshurs are always nice. :)

Megat had some wet food wif lots of jelly in it. san says the jelly is good for him as it is just water and if he eats the jelly, he would not have to get water in the horrible injeksions. This is Megat sleeping on Saturday morning. He is old so he sleeps alot. Megat is wearing his new red collar wif the hearts. He looks good in red and black :)

Bujang was furry lucky to get to go fur a walk. san got him in the walk clothes and after some fussing, san took him to walk along the corridor as it was raining a little. He was happy as san has not taken him out fur walks fur a looooong time. This san is sometimes a furry lazy bean. Hrumphhhh!

New Collars for old

What!! I just changed me blue collar san...arghhhh...

This san has nuffing better to do. I'm sure she will show us the camera again and again so she can haf a pikshur offur our new collars. Thank goodness all offur us haf new ones, not only me. Then the suffering will be fur all :) We will see just how I look wif my new orange collar. I fink I will look better than anyone else...

I had san look at my old pikshurs so she can pick one or two that show my eyes. I know I have many offurs that show my eye colours but san does not know where they are :) I hope these pikshurs show my blue eyes clearly :)

Sunday meanderings

Calm Sunday

We are glad that our Sunday was furry calm and peaceful. Grandma and the offur kitties all had a good Sunday and nuffing happened to disturb our peace. I fink that is the most important fing in a cat's life. Of course if you ask the offur kitties, they would say - Food (Tanaka), Brushing (Toro), Blankie (Ms Akira), Napping (Megat). Fur me , it is peace and calm.


san gave Megat his usual yukky black thingee in the needles. I dun like needles or san days 'syringes'. San let Toro and I smell it but it was so horrible we had to run away. Toro sneezed a little..heee but then he is furry goofy. I know that once san has finished giving Megat his medicines, she would give him treats. If we are near, we would also get treats and so I always sit next to Megat and watch him (actually I am watching san to see if she takes out the salmon treats). This Megat is useful in this way but I fink he is not well or san would not give him the same fings every day. Although I know we would not get so many treats, I hope he gets a little better anyways. He is family.

Water water everywhere

Water cups all in a row - The yellow belongs to Cousin R, Grandma has the black one and of course Megat has his Dora cup :) . Bujang sometimes also drinks from the Dora cup because there is usually some ice in it for Megat. Megat still needs to drink more though but we will see what his doc says on Tuesday next.

Thursday trials

My cpu is at formatting heaven so I have not been able to post any new pictures of the amigos but they are all well and sleeping and generally messing about as usual. Cousin R commented today that Bujang is gaining back his lost pounds :(. Bujang has been getting much more food as he is always hungry and know how to get food from everyone in the house. I on the other hand have not been very good at walking him at all.

Ms Akira has had several confrontations with kpo Tanaka, whose incurable curiosity has landed him in many scrapes with her. Today, even Megat got screamed at for daring to sniff at her blanket :) Toro's ears are acting up again and he has had 2 days of me clenaing his right ear of gunk and putting the steroid cream on the very curious nodule that keeps popping up every time there is gunk in his ears. He hates it but likes the treats he gets afterwards :)

The boys, especially Bujang is keeping close tabs on Megat. Bujang keeps sniffing him and following his trail. This has made him doubly nervous. Poor kitty.

PS. I bought 2 prints from tascha but have yet to put them up. Maybe later when I get around to finding the hammer and nails :)

hmmm..nuffing going on san...

Bujang made alot of noise when I opened the window. So I thought he wanted to go outside and sit along the corridor as he kept looking out of the wondow. After I had set it all up and got him harnessed, he just decided to sit in front tof the door. Then after just 5 minutes, he stood up and walked into the house! AIYAH!!!

I sat wif san after dinner. san was reading her book. san read to me a little. It was a detective story about a policeman but it was furry longggg...so..

I decided to tell san that I was not interested and wanted her to stop. san didn't but she gave me somefing to play wif. It was...

a nice orange (like me) paper. It flew about. THIS was much better...

I tried to eat it but it didn't taste furry good. But it crinled about and made a good noise. san was still reading and oh well..how long can a cat be interested in a piece of paper?

Ho hummm....

I decided to see what was under my blankie..

It was nice and warm and much better than san's book...

zzzz....so much better...zzzz

Mdm M Investigates

Mdm M decided that nothing was to be left alone. She decided to give the room a thorough sweep, from under the mats to...

under blankets. She was nothing if not thorough! But she thought it best to go through the tunnel just to see the light at the end of it :)

"Hmmm, nothing of interest," she said to herself. 'I am quite safe here. There are no boy terrorists in this building."

She then jumped up the computer table to check out the technology. "I am no tecchie," she said, "but it does not mean I cannot use the computer. The human bean is not a tecchie herself and she could do it. If she can, so can I."

She then saw a pic of herself on the monitor. "Ahhh..this is one of those CCTV thingees. I can see myself." With that she decided that she was really really safe and went to sit on top of the cupboard; Queen of all she surveys :)
