Yesterday I sat with san before she went to the hospital with Megat for his review. We had some quality time together looking at the outside from inside the house. 

We both enjoyed the quiet together.

Happy Valentine's Day

This afternoon san came home and we spent the time together. It was pretty hot and so san had the cool air in the room but I got a little cold and so spent the time on san's lap. It was warm and cool at the same time then I got a nap also.

san says she has no grand plans to spend the day outside of our home. This is a good plan as the she would stay home with us and we can watch videos and eat treats. :) Happy Valentine's Day everybuddy.

Tuesday Laze-about

Time to bed I think...but not before our nightly cuddle :)

When you are a cat...

You are allowed to sleep on your person's hand and stop her from typing. Then she would have to pet you instead! This is a secret that all cats know and we take advantage of.

Goodnight Sunday

I like just hanging out with san. We like spending quiet time together. san said I should say goodnight and so here it is "Goodnight everyone."

Goodnight Friday from Ms Akira

Ms Akra came out of her Princess Room on the warpath! She meowed and complained and told me in no uncertain terms that I had yet to spend any time with her (of cos she meant she wanted a lap and where was mine?). She followed me to the kitchen and then to the living room and finally I just had to give in to her Royal Highness. What is Midsommer Murders when a little cat wants a lap?

Ms Akira's Good Friday morning

I thought it would be good to allow Ms Akira some morning time out. As the boys were in my room looking at the pigeons outside the window, it was a good opportunity as everyone would be happy.
She decided to sit quietly with me by the door. She is by nature a quiet cat who loves contempation and meditation although she also loves running after ribbons at night.

For Ms akira every opportunity is an occasion for grooming...

and looking at the world from the safety of her house...

Then she decided to take a risk and put her head out the window. My heart skipped a beat but I thought it better to allow her this than pull her inside immediately as she might get freaked out and may not want to sit here again. But after a minute, she decided to put her head in again and got down. PHEW! As I was sitting with her on the table (where this cat seat was) I was not too scared that she might slip out as she does not really like the outside and would prefer sitting on my lap the whole day if she could.

I decided to sit with san tonight afer all the boys went to bed... But san was blogging so I decided that she should pay attention to me instead. There is nothing like getting in between your bean and her computer. Instant attention! I recommend it highly.

Ms Akira reports

All is okay on the homefront. I decided to sit with san in the living room as she was too busy at work on her laptop and I wanted someplace warm to sit on. The cotton pjs were a good idea. I recommend them to effuryone :)

And Ms Akira goes back into her room for some rest after making sure we are all ready for Friday.

Ms Akira and I

Ms Akira and I almost always spend the last hours before we sleep together. She would make long singing demands and follow me everywhere until I finally sit with her at the computer and we would spend a quiet hour or two here. Once here, she would settle herself quietly and purr and sometimes groom me, as though reminding me that my standards of hygiene could be better :). Then I would give her some treats and then everyone would get some sleep :)) It is our nightly routine. It also reminds me that she needs more than this as she likes people and interacting with people and Bujang of course.

So I have tried to give her some morning time, usually one hour out from her room. After the boys are sequestered in my bedroom, Ms Akira gets the run of the house and once she has decided she has had enough, she would settle in her own room quietly. Then its the boys' turn. Sometimes when we open the door in the afternoon, she doesn't go outside at all, eventhough she knows the boys would not be troubling her.

She is a quiet kitty who likes a quiet life, not one that includes a cranky 14 year old, a busybody ginger cat and a naughty but clueless persian-cross.

The Elusive Ms

This morning Ms Akira and I spent some quiet time together after I finished housework and before I do school work or go to see grandma. She has been much neglected as grandma is in rehab hospital for therapy. usually she would spend her days with grandma sitting quietly together watching TV :)

The amigos have all been trying to get used to not having grandma with them. the only one who still goes around the house looking for grandma is Bujang. He spends his afternoon either sitting on grandma's couch or grandma's bed. I have placed grandma's blanket out for him so I hope this helps him a little. :)

Grandma is doing very well and has taken the move from CGH to SACH quite well. The inpatients are all very cheery and she sees people with fractures like hers moving about. So I hope that encourages her to do well. Today will be her first day of therapy.

Time for a nap..
