On Vesak Day We Give Thanks...

for Mera@cat_aunty who is doing well but is still thin...
and who decided to take matters into his own thanks by getting out of his cage and hiding out in the store room to hide from thunder :)
for FatBoy who seems to have renewed appetite for food and life but is still too thin for comfort...
for Minah who believes that all is well and seems happy and cheery....
knows dinner will always appear when she wants it...
for Putih who can now be found at her old hangouts although she still prefers eating on higher ground...
and believes in living the free life...
even for Terror Kitty aka JerryBoy who is now a little quieter...
though no less eager to follow us home. I think if he is a little fatter he would look much more handsome and when that happens, life would be easier for him downstairs.

Vesak Day Hopes

This pic is of Tanaka when he was 8 weeks old :) We were given this gift by 2 boys who did not know what to do with a small kitten on Deepavalli. He has given us much joy and love ever since :) Now that he is very friendly, all the repairmen who had come to our house likes him a lot and would have conversations with him. His favourite is Kevin our laundryman and now, Mr Lim, our air con repair man :)

Vesak Day Wish

http://diabellalovescats.com/gr_itholiday1.htm

We wish every single creature a day of peace and kindness...

Quiet thoughts

Vesak Day meditations...zzz
After a long time Toro and I spent some time together at the computer. He is now laying on his personal shelf, meditating with his eyes open. I suspect that he is asleep though. He seems quite contented and so I think I will stay here alittle longer to keep him company. I know that once I leave the computer room, he would wake up, shake himself and leave with me :)
Grandma reported that he still looked for Putih yesterday in the loo. I wonder when he will stop looking for her. The other kitties have stopped looking and ms Akira ate some fussiecat yesterday. I just think its nice that all of them get together at dinner just for 5 minutes tops. If Ms Akira doesn't think she can get anything good to eat at dinner, she may stop coming to the kitchen to eat with the boys. I don't want that to happen as she is so prima donna already and hardly ever hangs out with them.
