Megat at the vet

 He had fever on and off for several days before our review. So last Thursday, he had a complete blood test just in case. I was afraid his kidney indicators would be worse as Dr Ly said he could feel the fibroid in one of his kidneys.He concurred with Dr T that Megat should not get fever from Fercobsang and Laurabolin and suspected infection.

Everything is so much better than in Feb, much to my relief and I'm sure to Megat's relief as well. even though we were at the spanking new hospital at Serangoon, I didn't fancy trying out their stay-in facilities! So all 3 of us (Dr L included) were very relieved that Megat did not have to be a guest.

His other indicators were very good as well. 

Dr Ly gave him some antibiotics for 10 days and we have to go back next week. He is now so much better and has been chatty at mealtimes as well.

It has been raining the whole morning and even now. The kitties are all getting down to sleeping except Ms Akira who is running about in the computer room with me. It a nice quite down time that we are having and I enjoy hanging out with the amigos, just resting at home.

Megat is getting better and after 4 days of his antibiotics, his fever went down considerably. Today he is not warm to the touch and he has been vocalizing for the last 2 days, in a less strident fashion. Yesterday he ate all of his wet food and this morning he came out of the room to ask for food, although he ate less than his one teaspoon. He has been eating his biscuits at night although not all of them. I think he has lost some weight too. But at least he is beginning to take an interest of mingling with family.
