Gargoyle in the house

Sometimes I do not understand san's sense of humour.
Tanaka went to the vet today for his checkup. I was worried that his numbers may be worse as he has more trouble eating these days. But the mirtazapine seems to help him and he does not need it regularly, which is a blessing. His kidney numbers are stable and he is still within stage 2, but at the higher end. It has been about 5 years now. Even so, we are thankful to this.

To the VET I go.

Tanaka went to the vet today for his annual check-up. I am glad to report that he has an all clear. We did a blood test for the usual check on his kidneys and liver. The only nagging thing here was the 2.0 for his creatinine. But as I did not make him fast, the vet said it was not a cause for worry as he is a healthy kitty. Dr T had checked his lower legs and made him walk about to see if he was limping as well. It was all good and his X-rays did not show any hair-line fractures or bone abnormalities. He was also at a good weight, at 4.1 kg. I was glad  about this as Sister S and Cousin R said he seemed thinner. He must have been overweight before.  He was at the clinic for just over 30 minutes and now he is resting and listening to the rain.  I am so glad that we came him right before the rain. I am afraid this rain may continue for the whole day.

I wonder where the sun comes from and where it goes.
