Tanaka Thursday

   Wait a minute. I need to look what's out there first San. 

   

    Ok. The coast is clear. Let's go!

             This is my bicycle. 

San finally took me out walking downstairs. I spent almost an hour inside the carrier as I was a little anxious. But later I had a fine time outside. It was a wonderful Wednesday morning.

Tanaka enjoys sleeping inside my blanket. 

Tanaka is now more relaxed with Popps and Akira, although not any less vigilant of Akira. He is now able to lie in the middle of the living room and Popps can walk by without him being fixated on her. He does have conversations with Akira in the morning from outside Akira's room but Akira would no longer be in hiding from him. She would sometimes tell him off (yell in his face) or just sit a little further away from him. Once when she was on the couch and he was walking from the computer room to the bedroom, she flew at him screaming. He was so shocked that he jumped in fright. Even Popps ran into the kitchen in fear.

However, it had taken him a long time to figure out his role in the household. Below are his conversations with Fern.

Tanaka was very sweet. He enjoyed the healing and curled up comfortably. He said he started to get used to the change of having a new family member and the new arrangement.

Tanaka was funny and loving. He talked more today and said I was going to make him fall asleep during healing! He was cheerful and optimistic, which made me happy. He jumped off when we were done.

        I am NOT pleased. 

This is how Tanaka takes his TCM everyday. I bought him a new 'boy' bib as he would salivate quite a lot. The blue towel is to catch the TCM that he would sometimes spit out. 

He used to have to use this girly bib before that I used to make Megat wear for his meds. His face shows all that he feels about bib wearing and TCM- he is long suffering. 

Now of course I do not need someone else to help me hold him. He knows that the towel and bib signal TCM and he listens well to the request to 'sit still and all paws on the ground.' Once he hears this, he sits quietly even if I have to leave him for a minute to get the warm water to clean him up. He is a very clever kitty for sure.

Last night I decided to give my bruffer my laser eye. He was much affected by it and he had to close his eyes for fear of being hurt. Then de turned to me and tried to give me his laser eye. I was furry smart and kept my eyes closed. Haha Bujang!

I must admit I did very well at Dr O's clinic on Tuesday. I was also furry lucky that san made me wear a blue collar that was also rather manly. Our friend D had sent us a collar for my sisfur Akira but san has not yet made Akira wear it. She is training Akira by making her wear the blue collar when she eats her meds first. I heard that she may make my bruffer Bujang wear it at his acupuncture session this Saturday. San thinks it may make him less frightened as he may be protected from seeing the doctor 's hand. But I know he won't like it.

Finally I am allowed to post somefing! The little girl has been having a lot of her say here. Thank goodness she has run out offur fings to say. Here I am wif san in the afternoon. We usually sit together. It is usually very quiet in the afternoons.

We boys need some time as well although my bruffer likes napping in the afternoons. I prefur snoopervising and at this moment I was snoopervising him. :))

ps. san says she wants to ask offur mommies advice. I had eaten a lot offur grass when I was unwell and now I have some trouble pooing. The grass refuses to get out wif the poop and so I have to run madly to get away from the swinging poop. She has given me some tuna-flavoured laxative but she is wondering what else she can give me for it.
