After the V_E_T...

The vet said that they would call me about 3 pm or 4 pm to take him home. But they rang at 2.45 pm and told me that Rocket, like his name, was already awake and I could take him home. I was surprised as the other kitties woke up only about 5 or 6. When I got to the vet, he was already wide awake and all ready. Dr K asked me to take him out of his carrier as she said he growled at her and he growled at the assistant too. She asked me if he was naughty but I told her that Tanaka was really an angel compared to Bujang. He did not fuss when I took him out and she explained what she had done to him.

He was quiet all the way home and once out of his carrier, he walked into the bedroom, stared at his surroundings, took a look under the bed where the scratcher was and then jumped onto the bed and groomed himself. No sound and no fuss. Then he fell asleep. I guess everything was where it should be and he was quite sure he was in the right house :)

Hello san...and family...

I came to say hello...

Tanaka came out from the bedroom to sit with me for a whole 2 minutes. He sniffed at the computer, groomed himself and then with great purpose, went back into the bedroom. I think he may just be missing all the chaos that usually shakes the amigo house at this hour - the perpetrator being Rocket Tanaka himself :)

Caution..OUCH! That must hurt!

And so we wait for tomorrow...

The 2 carriers that I would need for tomorrow all lined up...

Bujang making sure that everything was in order...

I took out the 2 carriers into the living room so the amigos would get used to it. I do not need them panicking tomorrow especially Toro, whom I might bring with Rocket instead of Megat. Toro's eye has been bothering me and him for 4 days. I had bought the cleansing solution on Friday and tried to flush out the impurities. This morning his eye was still not as big as usual although he can open it quite easily. So if it still is half shut, he would be going to the V_E_T instead.

The V_E_T assistant rang and reminded me not to feed Rocket anything after 10. As I knew he would be very hungry I gave him something at about 8 and would make sure he gets into his sleeping quarters by 10. I hope things would go smoothly for them tomorrow.

The V_E_T again?

Can I not go please. I am not sick.

On 10th March Rocket will go in for neutering. The vet assistant said, "Castration?". I said, "I guess so." Rocket does not look pleased at such a prospect:)
