Weekend Vibes

 

San bought us a new tunnel. It is longer than our old one and more colourful. We had breakfast and after that we saw our new tunnel already in the living room. It looked strange so we had to investigate it fully. 

Of course we had to allow Sky to play in it first. Manju tried to run through it but he got body slammed by Sky. San has a video of that but as google had not allowed her to post directly form her phone, there was no way to put it up here. 

We spent a whole morning sitting  and running through the tunnel. Well, except Manju as he was scared of Sky. San said she thought a longer tunnel would allow more of us to share it. San has an unrealistic view of cats. We had to teach her that one cat at any one time is the rule. 

We tore our blue one last night when San was playing with us. Sky and I tried to capture the lure together  and our long nails tore the tunnel. We were afraid san would put the toy away but she said it was an old tunnel that she bought for Bujang and so it was ok. We were quite relieved as we continued to run after the lure. San said Momo should relax a bit as she kept stomping on everyone and was the main culprit of the unfortunate accident with the tunnel. Hmmmm…

An Ordinary Sunday

 

Today we woke up to loud bird songs. I sniffed the air to see what was happening. I saw some swooping  across the window and watched them fly. San said a cat like me should never do that. That was why our windows have those things across them. 

My sisters spent  the time near the door where we get a cool breeze. Their fur is long again and they have been slipping across the floor. San said it would be time to trim their fur so they would be cooler as well. I am glad my fur is short. I know I wont  like it if I have to go to the groomer every 2 months. It must be hard on them as well. 

National Day Sunday

 

Today we are 61 years old. San said she is older than her country. We do not understand what that means as my sister and I are about 5 and my brother Manju is 3 plus. We have also become legal catizens of our country as san got us licensed last month. All cats living in public housing have to get official  licences by August 31st. This means we officially live here and no one can tell us to move just because we are cats. 

Now it’s time for the parade. San. can we have snacks as well?

It’s a sunny Sunday

 

The days are getting hotter again. But we sometimes get rain in the early morning but that does not seem to help. We were lucky this morning was cool and san put the fan on for us. Our ceiling fan is making the clicking noises so san said some repairmen may have to come to the house soon. 

These few weeks will be a busy one for san as its test time. She has been grading papers non-stop but we were glad we got to play before bed time. We try to sit beside her to show her that she should rest for a bit. We of course get a treat as well. So all is good for both sides. ❤️
