Troublemaker Thursday

The sleep of a naughty cat. He disturbed his two sisters last night and created so much noise. Poor Sky didn’t get any rest at all and Momo rested for abit. He, however, slept the sleep of the innocent. 

 

Wednesday with MM

This morning I was trying to scare my sisters but Sky saw me. So I tried Momo. These days I have to be careful with Momo because she might kick me. San said  there is a new gangster girl in town.

Phew! It’s all over

I look forward to a quiet time today as san said we would have no more guests. So I don’t need to be nice to others. My house would also be so much more quiet with only san and her sister who came back from Malaysia to celebrate Eid with us.

Is it here yet?

Today san will be getting the house ready for Eid. san made sure that our house got a new coat of paint, we had our new playground and also our dangerous windows were meshed. I know that when san is busy I should make myself scarce. And so I decided this was the place to be- tucked under the shelves and away from all things dangerous. This will be our first Eid together for san, me , Manju and Sky. san said our new collars are not ready but I think that's ok.

A too-hot Sunday

 Sky finally found a cool place to sleep on under the ceiling fan. 

I do not appreciate your sense of humour

 No san. I am not a cat-pet. I just like sitting on my tummy. No I am not fat. I am just the right size. 

Manju on Thursday

Here I was telling san that I needed more sleep…ok I was also trying to persuade san to give me more food. She said I was putting on too much weight and so she could not give me any more. Life is so difficult for a cat!
 

Welcome back Spidey

 

I was so pleased when san gave me my spider plant back. It had a good break outside as it was bushy again. I took n several bites and decided it was better to play with it than eat it. San was pleased and I am sure Spidey was too. 

Skywalker on Monday

Yes. She found her meow back although it was not so loud as before. Yesterday I was outside and heard her calling. When I looked into the room, she was walking about with Tiger. She is well again and eating as per normal. Yay!!
 

Easy Peasy Sunday

 Finally after a hectic two days we can have some peace and quiet. San called in painters to give our house a nice new coat of white paint and also got rid of the damp and mold on our ceilings. Here I was trying to inspect the ceiling for cracks.  But I found none. San was grateful for my help and she said I was very brave for the two days and followed instructions well. At first I was anxious when I first saw her putting out the furniture and thought that she was going to re-home me again. I asked Chris, our ac and Chris said it was just some painting that needed to be done. I know san had told me the day before but I forgot.

Mizu Manju on Monday

 Here I am resting by the window. This is the best window as there is a breeze and the warm sun. Also I can hear the birds from across my house. They’re always singing and so I have a sweet lullaby. 

Sunday with Manju

San brought in the garden this morning. I had spidey and the grass but I didn’t eat any of them. I thought the other fern would taste good but not so. I think I’m off eating plants. San seemed pleased but not me. 

My sister momo liked the blue fern a lot. I think she had decided that the fern would be her garden but san was glad she didn’t eat any of the fronds. 
 

Skywalker’s Super Saturday

 I am feeling much better. San asked the vet for some pain meds for my gums and teeth. Last Wednesday she picked them up with some mirtapazine. I hope I will be able to recover my voice as san said it is still tiny. 

Quiet Sunday at home.

It is a quiet Sunday. It rained this morning and so Sky and Manju are napping. I am just hanging out in the cat  garden but it is empty of plants that we can eat. My sister sky came home at 7 plus last Thursday from her dental appointment. The vet said she had 2 teeth extracted and the X-ray showed that her jaw was ok. San was very relieved and so were we with the news.

MM:  Mr Spidey came back this morning as san promised.  Then my sister Momo came for a bit but she doesn’t like spider plants. I was glad as I didn’t have to share.  My sister Sky was lounging on her scratch board and sleeping near the open door. san always opens the door in the morning when she is home as it is always cooler then. 

San, how does your garden grow?

 There is nothing good to eat in san’s indoor garden. All her plants are outside and she has only these 2 on top of the small cupboard. She told me it’s so I don’t eat the plants as the Dead Man’s cactus and Cebu Blue are not for eating. Also she has a concrete robin, a calico cat in a yellow arm chair and an angel cat. The angel cat used to belong to Rainbow Cat Totoro but it fell off his urn and broke both ears. San did not want to throw it away so she kept it inside the house. She couldn’t get another one as the Etsy seller said she would not send any more overseas. I told san she should have a little spider plant there as well but she seems to not understand me at all. 

 

Way too hot!

 Yesterday san shared a photo of Skywalker cooling down and today I thought san should talk about me. This was me yesterday sleeping in my red basket. I was in the room with the air on and had a good nap. I of course did not have any problem eating. San said eating was something I did well.

The days are too hot here where I live. I spend most of my days with the ac on. I am glad my fur is short but the fur on my head is still making me feel too hot. Also I don't feel like eating much due to the weather.  san decided to ask Chris what was happening as she could not find anything wrong with me. I told Chris that I was tired of the food san gave me everyday so san asked me if I wanted fish, like my rainbow sister. Sister Poppy loved raw mackerel so she got me some. At first I was very excited but when she gave me some on my plate I ran a thousand miles away. I did not like the smell. It smelled weird. So after 5 minutes I ate my kibble which was delicious, not my wet food. san said she would try to get a different flavour for me by tomorrow. I hope so as I don't feel like eating much.

 

Super Sunday

I sat near the window this Sunday as it was quite breezy. It had been hot for many days but today I am taking advantage of the quite cool morning.

I do not appreciate your tone san. You sent me here to the groomers ! I do not appreciate  you laughing at me as well.

Monday Once More…

But we’re lucky as today is a public holiday. So I am sleeping next to san. It’s a cool day and it’s drizzling for a bit so it’s perfect weather for a quiet snooze…with my eyes half open. 
 

Sunday chores with Mizu Manju

 This morning I sat with san to encourage her to finish the chores quickly. It was already 6.41 am and she was still in the linen room. We hadn’t even had  our breakfast yet. We usually have breakfast at 4.30 am before she goes to work at 6. 

Happy Dragon Year

 San and us wish everyone a Happy Dragon Year. SAN said since I was the youngest I can do the  greeting for us. Also I look like gold nuggets - yellow and round.

I sometimes sleep like this just to scare san and Sky. But I can't keep it up for long. My sister's Sky's temper is uncertain and she may beat me up.

Sunday Outing

 San brought me to the park this morning as I did not go near the door when she was watering the plants. I thought I would enjoy it but I didn’t. It was noisy and scary and I spent the whole time looking at san. After 30 minutes Intold san I wanted to go home. 

Pedicure for Princess Momo

 I went to the vet this afternoon with Manju. It was not so bad. The vet technicians gave me treats so I told san we should go there next month for my pedicure. San said the next time I go for grooming she would send me to the vet first to clip my nails. Oh-oh!

Monday Grooming

 San brought me to the vet this afternoon to clip my nails. I allowed them to do it without much fuss but I didn’t like the vet messing with my mouth. San wanted to see why I was drooling so much ever since I stayed here. The vet found some broken teeth with gum tissue around them making my mouth sore. So she made  an appointment for me to do some dental in early March. The vet said the dental was not critical to my safety but it was a little painful even so.   I am not looking forward to that. 

Sunday Gardening

 San had removed the sharp-leaved bromeliad from here as she was afraid I would hurt my mouth after she saw me trying to munch the leaves. So we have have a fern here in case I feel like munching on something.  Also now I got my box back where I can sit to watch videos. Woohoo!!!

Wednesday Snooze with Skywalker

 I decided to help san today as she was on wfh. I was on zoom and san had to introduce me to all in the meeting. That was the most exciting part as the rest of the time she was just sitting and talking to the black box thing. So I had a nap which was the best thing today I feel. 

Whatcha doin MM…

san took away my spider plant and bought me some strange tasting herb called Gotu Kola or Indian pennywort. It seems it is ok for animals and people. But I much prefer the Rabbit Foot fern up here. San was not pleased of course as I might break the pot and hurt myself. She shooed me down several times. I don’t know why I should get down at all since I am a cat and I climb quite gracefully. 

Easy Peasy Sunday

 This morning I heard a strange call outside of my house. San said it was just a bird but I wanted to see for myself. 

Our Own Garden

MM: San decided to give us our own garden. She looked hard for plants that are not toxic to cats. Out cupboard is a little bare but she said better this than nothing at all. I spent many days biting the spider plant leaves. San left me alone and I was happy.

MM: Our garden. From top shelf - fern, hoya kroniana and spider plant. The one on the stool is a lady palm. The mother plant belonged to my grandma. san took the small offshoots and planted them it grew this much in one year as san only did this in 2023 and my grandma went to the bridge 3 years ago.
 

Just Because Momo

M: It rained today and we were a little cold. The weather is weird as yesterday it was very hot. I sat with san for some warmth and brushing. You think that as a long-haired kitty I would be warmer but san had my fur trimmed 2 months ago. It’s growing slowly. 
 

Just Because Skywalker

 I was feeling much better yesterday and decided to sleep on the couch next to san. san also gave me duckie back again. I suspect she wants to put tiger in the wash as she said he was black with saliva. I do not see what the problem is as he is my tiger and he sleeps with me. I don’t understand san’s obsession with washing. 

Sunday Funday
