Just Because

He is much more relaxed with the Bach flowers for stress and relaxation. I got the one especially for pets with no alcohol online. They used to sell Bach for kids with no alcohol at the pharmacist but now they have grape alcohol in the kids formula.

I put some on his ears last night as he has been meowing very loudly at night as well and to my surprise he was actually quiet after a few very loud meows. Maybe it's working for him but we will have to see that it's not a fluke.

I like meowing san. It relaxes me!

FatBoy at the vet

nyom...nyom...nyommm

Fatboy was very disturbed yesterday when he spied the carrier and could not eat calmly. He wanted to run off but we managed to put him in the carrier. He snapped at us once and then decided there was nothing else he could do and sat quietly. But he complained a little to the vet Dr L as J was not about. But the vet dr L sprayed some antiseptic to numb the area and he sat quietly to allow for the SubQ. It took just under 5 minutes and we were back in 15 minutes at most. I was lucky to be able to get cabs pretty quickly.

He did not finish eating his food with the meds in it but he refused to eat it eventhough we put the bowl in the carrier. So after I brought him home, Cousin R came with more food mixed with a little of his Kidney Activator meds. He ate slowly but finished almost all of it.

Then Cousin R and I sat for some time to see that he is okay and when we saw him walking about, we left him to his own devices.

I also bought the Bach Rescue No 6 for Loss and Mourning so we could give him some as I'm sure he misses the auntie as they were a pair for 8 years. I also plan to give some to all the community kitties. I know it might not work for all cats but there is no harm in trying it out on all.
