Who are you kitty?

Last week was very wet and it rained almost everyday . Not with thunder but drizzles. San was very surprised that I braved those days and sat in the living room with my sisters. I even sat by the open door when it rained outside. I walked about and napped easily, not under chairs or in tight corners. I told san that the rain  was outside and I was
safe
inside my own house.

Mother’s Day Sunday

Sky: On Mother’s Day Sunday, San’s sister came to bring back grandma’s propagated jasmine plant.  My grandma passed many years  before I came to live with san. San’s sister had propagated grandma’s jasmine to give to her other sister. So this afternoon, she brought the small jasmine plant home. They also had some time to catch up which was nice.  san said we should all be in the post since it’s Mother's Day.

This is grandma’s jasmine tree. The amigos were all buried under it. The tree is an old one and the branches are bare although it still flowers whenever the weather gets very hot.

This is a picture of my grandma whom I have never met. The corridor  garden was still bare as san and grandma just moved to this flat when she took this picture. San said grandma used to sing whenever she went about doing grandma things. This house was the first one grandma had that truly belonged to her as for a long time grandma and san had lived in rented places. No wonder grandma sang a lot.

We wish everyone a good and blessed Mother’s Day

Oh pfffbhtt!

It took san a very long time to get into our cat block again. After 1001 tries (yes she exaggerates a lot), we are finally in. She has been having trouble with even posting pictures directly and has had to copy and paste our pictures for many moths and when she could not even access this blog she threw up her hands in despair.

But we are glad she is our secretary and we could just tell her to get on with business. We got up early for Sunday because san heard Manju hacking and knew he was going to throw up. She was glad he decided to do that in the bathroom and not on the bed. After that , he had a short rest and we all enjoyed some breakfast. Manju got a little bit of food but we got threats. Yahoo! Then we sat at the open door for the morning breeze  to rest and relax - Sunday style.

We were also curious to see the wild rooster that we heard this morning. San said he is a ‘jungle fowl’ and not the domesticated kind. We told her we don’t know the difference as we’re cats.

This is a picture of the jungle fowl that someone took at Pasir Ris park. We live im Pasir Ris as well but the one who lives downstairs is much smaller. Half his size san said.  It is a pity we won’t be able to see him as we live on a high floor and he comes out only in the morning and only sometimes in the evening.
