Then and Now Sunday

Today we thought we will show where our commcats are with their adopted families. At present we have 2 cats.

This is Cody aka Jeffrey. He was adopted by Constance in 2015 when he was already about 10 years old.

This is Cody with his 3 month old brother. His mom Constance waited until his brother was about 3 before introducing them. Cody is a cool big brother and loves his little brother very much.

This is Ren who came to us at about 4 weeks. She boarded with one of our friends and went for a trial adoption in the middle of August. The trial, which was supposed to be for only 2 weeks stretched to 1.5 months. I was afraid they would decide that she was not for them as she would be heartbroken but last Friday, they signed the adoption papers. Hurray and congrats Ren and Cody.

Wednesday chit-chat

 

 Hello. I thought I would just hang out here for a bit. 

I like watching teevee. I sometimes sit here with my family and watch with them. My favourite is cooking shows as there is always something going on. I like watching people more than I like watching animals.

Of course I also like sleeping in the warm afternoons. This is my blanket on san's bed. The blanket is always here during the day as I like napping on the bed. Sometimes I just nap on the bed linen but I know this is my place. san bought this blanket especially for me as my two brothers have their own.

Popsicle Poppy on Tuesday

Popps loves sitting at the now open window all the time. The breeze that comes through from here is sometimes warm but when I took this photo, it was after the morning rain and so it was a cool breeze that she enjoyed. Her face is still itchy, she tells Fern, but "it's not too bad."

I am trying out a set of new remedies for her from homeoanimal.com, recommended by the same people who had recommended the NHV herbal supplements. The only difficulty is the capsule that she has to take everyday. She does not like pills and would not take it neat, so I had to mix the contents with her l-lysine. This set is for 5 weeks, to be taken in different combinations. It for detoxification of her system. Bujang takes the same for his sneezing. The consultant told me that it would be a good beginning for him as we don't really know why he is sneezing. I don't want him on long-term antibiotics and so the both of them are taking the same set. 

I really hope it works out for both.

I fear san is not telling the truf. I have been very good this past week and have sat quietly, minding my own business. I have also taken a liking to sitting with grandma as she is usually still and calls my name kindly. Of course she can't remember my name and calls me 'Cat". But I know she means me as she always calls out "Cat" when I sit with her.

Ok. Maybe san is right. I sometimes have no control over my impulses and I think it was Tanaka's fault for not minding me. I was just here for a bit, okay for more than a bit looking at him looking out. I was thinking of jumping on him but I heard san calling "REZKI" and so I stopped. san always calls me REZKI if she is warning me about something that I should not do and I know how to listen to that. At other times she just sings out my name Rez~~~~~~. I know then that I am not in trouble.
