This week san said would be the last week that I get to go downstairs in the morning as she starts work next week. I made the most of the morning, eating grass that is still green and juicy. I was minding my own business until I saw this sign.

Saturday Easy
I spent the morning walking on the grass. I did not go down for four days as san was not home. I spent about 45 minutes walking and of course just sitting in my carrier when someone walked past. I told san that the red jacket did not fit me very well and so this morning I had on my new green one. San thinks I look better in red and red is my favourite colour in many things but as long as I get to walk, it's not a problem.
Here I am sitting outside offur my house wif san. We were just hanging around on Saturday. I behaved furry well when san was not home but then I am an independent and brave kitty :) My sisfur did not want to go walking but maybe later she would ask to get out. I hope it would be later rather than sooner though. Now san is home, we know things will go on like always- I like that.
San thinks we should share this space with a little _cutie pie_ from Mersing. I do NOT think anyone is cutie than I am but I thought we should do as san says (for now anyway). She said she might post a few more offur these cats pics later as well.
At least this cat had the right idea. Who goes on vacation and do work? Just fur that I fink she deserves to share my space. This cat does not belong to the owner offur the property. She is a 'pendatang haram' or a stray cat who came to stay. She is a little unwell and will be going to the vet as soon as possible. There is no vet practice in Mersing so the owner has to bring this cat all the way to Johor Bahru. That is about 1.5 hours away. This kitty has a respiratory problem. San wonders if she can bring anything for this kitty that does not require a vet prescription or going to the vet as there are 9 cats here and the person who owns the prosperity does not have the money to send all of them to the vet. She has 4 offur her own fur kids but she tries to look out fur others as well ( only 2 kitties are sneezing although more than 2 has eye infections)

Small Cat Diary
Yesterday I went for a good prowl downstairs. This green is a good place although san said I should hurry up since there were some mosquitoes flying about. I was not concerned as I am a cat and we are not afraid of mozzies!.jpg)

I went undercover and hid behind this thick bush. I was stalking prey! Sometimes I can catch lizards and once a lizard bit me back on my toe. But I ate his tail up. THAT taught him plenty.
Then I heard a loud noise and was rudely distracted by a few 2-legged individuals. san said I should not stalk little human beans as I had not put in enough practice for big game hunting.
But there were many little beans running about last evening. san said they were coming home from school. They didn't see me. I thought I did very well, camouflaging myself in the green.
And so I rested for a bit under the cover of prickly grass.
But when it comes to eating, I prefer the grass at this green though. Its longer and not so prickly. They're also softer.

Wonderful Wednesday
This afternoon san came home early and we went out walking at about 4 pm. I was very glad and walked for a whole hour.
There were a few sun beams but I was too busy

Tuesday Toes and Treats

Bujang went to the vet this morning to have his nails trimmed. He was very upset because the vet had him under a towel. He growled and snarled. I don't think I would allow the vet to do this the next time as it upset him quite a lot. The last time we went to have his nails trimmed he was quite relaxed and they even managed to take blood. There was no towel then! I have to see what he would do tomorrow with Adrian and if he is quiet we would not have his nails trimmed. I thought it would be wiser to have his nails trimmed in case he decides to use them on Adrian tomorrow.
I brought him downstairs today in this carrier with wheels as he needs to have a good vibe in it or else he would not want to get into it again for tomorrow for his osteopath appointment.

Walking the parameters!
We went down for a walk yesterday as Bujang has been asking to go out for several days already. He is not fussy about where we walk but he totally adores walking downstairs on the grass. We are having a dry spell and so the grass is dry and bard to chew. But he tries to find a good blade anyway. He has been exploring the area and has widened his walking spaces.
This is our ixora parameter that separates the residential area from the street. The last time he walked here was a whole year ago.
It was very hot and I was glad he found some shade. I of course did not have any such luck.
Under the shadow of a palm tree
He did not walk along the whole parameter as he was distracted by a little woofie who was also taking an evening walk.
Finally he found a place to rest that allowed me some shade as well. Hurrah!
We were downstairs for an hour almost. I had to hurry him as it was already dinner time and the rest of the kitties would be hungry. The evening sun was as terrible as the afternoon sun these days.

Thursday Walkies
This post is rather late as san was tired and told me she would blog after dinner and after we were both resting in bed, just winding down for the day.
Today I went for a walk in my usual place. The days are now dry and we have not had rain for about 2 weeks already although our mornings are unusually cold. You can see how dry the grass is. I don't mind as I just like walking downstairs. I was walking towards the tree and san kept telling me not to go there but I was curious.
I decided to see what was in the plate.
As san told me not to eat them I merely smelled them. They were offerings for Chinese New Year and so had been under the tree for many days. San was surprised that none of the birds nor any insect had been anywhere near them as they looked quite perfect although an unnatural colour.
San was much happier when I was rooting about under these bushes although she didn't know what I might find under them. I was happier as well as san allowed me to walk all over this space and didn't give me dire warnings.

Saturday Outside
This morning I brought Bujang downstairs as he was eager to be out. It is not often at all that we get to go out early. I agreed as it would be so much more noisy later as today being Saturday and the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year, a lot more people would be out.
It was not very not and the sun dappled the grass quite nicely. We saw some crows and pigeons already out.
It grew gradually hotter and a woman used the "hell money" bin provided by the town council. The ashes from the paper flew into the air and the acrid smoke filled our eyes so we had to move on to another park.
The second park was better.
We spent some time here and then I thought it would be nice to just take a short walk around our flat and I brought him to the playground.
It was very breezy and we sat here quietly for half and hour or so. He sat in his carrier looking at the outside.
I was glad that no one was out at the playground but there were quite a number of people walking about from the car park to the other flats though.
Bujang decided to get out for a minute to investigate this big tree before getting back into his carrier. He did not like this place so much but I thin it's because this is not our usual haunt. We spent about 11/2 hours outside which is more than what we usually spend during weekdays. I am glad I was able to give him this quiet adventure.
Tanaka and I also went downstairs for a bit but he spent all of his time in the carrier. We went by the same route as Bujang and stayed at the same playground for a bit.
Tanaka was so quiet that a pigeon visited and walked around the carrier, oblivious to the cat inside:)
We didn't spend a long time at the playground as a child and her father decided to join us. I brought him home and he decided that sitting here watching housework was so much better. The little lion was a gift from cousin r who bought it for him yesterday.

Thursday Thots
Today we are just resting. Here I am resting in front of my house when san took me for my morning walk. It was very quiet today unlike yesterday when I could hear a lot of shouting and people walking about. I like it better today as it is quiet and good for the spirit.

Thursday Adventures
This morning I went outside and saw a nice bright sunpuddle but I didn't stop as I wanted to walk up the staircase to see what's up.

This is a nice square sunpuddle but san also reminded me that it was in front of our neighbour's house and since we do not know this neighbour well, we should not stop for so long.

Not much though so I decided to walk home.
What's that sound then eh?
Must be the sunbirds. Who else should make those chirpings?
As usual the sunbird was hiding out!
Hmmm. It's not here san!
That was just a white hibiscus. I sat for a bit more then went home. I had quite an adventure outside. I am now used to just walking along our corridors as the repair works is taking a long time.
Yesterday san asked me what I was watching when I sat in my seat.
I saw this.
