A Model Life with Totoro and Bujang

Ok. Surely I look good enough to be in the IKEA catalogue...

Let me show you some of the work I've done...

I am flexible. I can share some of the limelight...

These cat perches are very useful and roomy. I have yet to see anything more roomy in any petshop. Toro has taken to the perch in a big way although he only uses the one in the living room. Bujang uses the one in the bedroom at night sometimes. Now none of them has to try to fit themselves in the old cat perch precariously although I still put the perch in the bedroom. Tanaka likes being on it, high above the boys. Ms Akira just uses the top of the fridge these days - much higher than any of us :))

Rocket Tanaka is the first one to sit in this cat perch in the living room.

I think his blanket gave him a great deal of confidence that nothing was going to bite him here.

I had been wanting a new cat perch for the amigos. Our old one was 2.5 years old and I had bought that when Bujang was 6 months old and no one can fit in it very comfortably anymore, even Ms Akira. I went to IKEA on Tuesday and bought 2 of these perches, one for the amigos in the bedroom and one for Toro to use in the living room. The perch itself is wider and they can sit and curl in it comfortably but of course no one has yet sat in the perch. Everyone has sat inside it and it is now Bujang's new hideout from Tanaka.

What is good is that you can use it as a cat scratcher, a cat hideout and a cat perch. Not bad lah for the price.
