Putih and her shenanigans

Putih calmly eating dinner after my frantic search for her.

Last Saturday, I finally found her 2 blocks away from her own and she came out at my ring although she stayed back from Tiger and Jeffry B. So I had to feed the 2 male cats and bring her dinner to her side. She refused to move from where she was. Then she decided she didn't like the open space and sat here instead. Finally!

I found out that there was some upgrading of public utilities where she was and so she had migrated to a quieter side of the estate. So I guess she had a cause to migrate.
After eating just 1/3 of her dinner, she jumped off and with nary a glance, strode purposefully away. I assumed she would be at her usual site...
and she was.

A good Samaritan smsed me at 11.30 pm on Saturday to tell me that she was sleeping on the overhead bridge!! 2 people have now informed me of her whereabouts, which is good. The last time she disappeared, we had not managed to put a new collar on her so her new orange collar is doing its job.

The Wild and Wilder Bunch

Tiger now waits for us at FatBoy's block. Someone told Cousin R that his people used to live in this block and they abandoned him when they moved house. So we would sometimes see him waiting at the lift and even in the lift. I think he was trying to go home! But he now knows he can go to M's house to hang out and no one there would leave him or abandon him except of course he lives the life of a community cat. he knows there would be food, as many cans as he wants and he is a greedy little kitty!
Putih is recovering slowly from her long ordeal. She now has a bright orange collar so she would be easily spotted. When she was away, many people actually asked M where she was and they said they had been trying to look for her! She is one lucky kitty.
Jeffrey Boy now lives at the void deck and is very fat. He has turned out to be an affectionate kitty and would allow the residents to per him. He used to be the gangster who would try to muscle in into the territory but he relaxed after the sterilization. He now hangs out near and sometime sin the carpark. The carpark it seems is a clean one so he is also clean, which makes it easier for the residents to like him more.
Minah is going steady, which is our wish for her. She is the only cat here and patrols her territory closely :)

I am thankful that everyone is safe this evening.

Minah our DIVA Community Cat

Minah looking very beautiful on Saturday
The various faces of Minah, our very own DIVA community kitty...

Minah is 7 years old, like Bujang. She lives at the void deck of our block and sometimes she visits us. We do not know how she knows where we live but she is purty clever! She loves tuna and chicken and of course biscuits! She simply loves biscuits!

Community Cats at Dinner

Putih in her new pink collar looking bright and cheery...
Terror Kitty looking well. His coat is more shiny and he has filled up quite satisfactorily. He also behaves better and is more quiet, especially at dinner.
Minah looking rotund and steady as always...

Looking at all of the Wild Bunch, I am very thankful that we are very lucky here and the cats have not been hurt or frightened by anyone. I hope to see no more abandoned kitties as I do not think the blocks can sustain anymore kitties without trouble brewing.

Wild Bunch Saturday

FatBoy ate his second dinner and then had to sit for a bit until he got some bits of it out from between his teeth - poor kitty!
He has put on a little bit of weight but still looks thin...
Minah and FatBoy eating companionably...
You can see Minah's very portly proportions here...
Terror Kitty did not look up the entire time he was eating 2.5 cans...
Dinner over and time for grooming...
Putih was not much interested in food...
She preferred jumping about and running very fast on the grass...

Saturday found the Wild Bunch safe and sound. They all had a good dinner with Fatboy eating 2 cans, Terror Kitty eating 2.5 cans and the girls just had 1/2 a can each. Minah also had some dry food as usual.

Terror Kitty was sitting on the staircase quietly and chomped down his food hungrily. After 2.5 cans, he decided enough was enough and jumped down to groom. Then he just sat and not a sound came from him throughout all this time. I was surprised but i guess he found out that the food would still appear even if he did not call for it. He didn't try to follow me home too which was a good thing. Terror Kitty is not strictly part of the Wild Bunch as he hangs out with the caregiver M but we feed him so he is our part time kitty.

FatBoy , as usual, elicited very kind responses from people and someone just called me to ask me if I had a cat. Since he was okay, I thanked the girl for calling me up to tell me about him. Thank goodness for kind people.
