Easy Peasy Sunday

A quiet walk along my corridor is furry good fur our body. It's also better if you are colour-coordinated as well. 

   

And you don't get entangled with your own leash!

    

Sunday always begins slowly in our house. Tomorrow san goes back to work and so we are planning a lot of time just planning a slow wake- up. 

Megat had a good nap. He didn't wake up even when I had taken this pic.

FRIDAY

We hope you have great plans for the weekend. The good news is Megat does not have to go to the hospital as the vet had given him 2 weeks to rest and to eat his way to a better weight. Since his PCV was 35 on the last count (last week) he was also out of immediate danger. We went to see Dr Lalani on Monday and he had his ear unblocked and his kidneys strengthened. Dr Lalani was very happy with his progress as well.

All in all, we are a happy bunch and we give thanks for many things, first of all that all the amigos are well and the community cats are also in good health. We give thanks for this whole week that I had been able to spend more time with the kitties as I am on a one-week school break.We give thanks that Megat has been able to eat alot more food by himself, taking in several mouthfuls of tuna or chicken in gravy. We had given him Fancy Feast as we saw that a lot of the kitties like it. Ms Akira likes it as well but not the rest of the boys. We continue to give him the 2mg cypro daily as advised by our vet as well. We think this is why he was able to eat more food during the day as he is alot more hungry.

Just Because

It's Thursday morning and its already so busy outside. I am glad I don't have to do hard labour. 

I know all I have to do is find a lap...and rest on it.

All I have to do is be the first one to get the hammock thing...its a little difficult at my age but not labour..exactly.

All we have to do is be ourselves! Its Just Because!

Just Because

He is much more relaxed with the Bach flowers for stress and relaxation. I got the one especially for pets with no alcohol online. They used to sell Bach for kids with no alcohol at the pharmacist but now they have grape alcohol in the kids formula. 

I put some on his ears last night as he has been meowing very loudly at night as well and to my surprise he was actually quiet after a few very loud meows. Maybe it's working for him but we will have to see that it's not a fluke. 

I like meowing san. It relaxes me! 

Tuesday walks

    

Akira began the morning with a short walk along the corridor. It was raining so she didn't want to go too far away from the house. 

But she did make a few stops. This belongs to the neighbour and I think it must house quite a number of insects. She scrutinized each and every opening. 

    Then it's time for another neighbour's potted plants. She looks at this pot every time she is out. 

        Bujang was even more curious. 

    

The bug kept very still as though it was just a stain on the wall. He lost interest after a few minutes. 

Then there was thunder and he got a little frightened and so he stayed close to home. 

I won't be frightened like Bujang. When can we go out?

Megat's vet review

Today we went to the vet for his PCV. But the front desk told us that we didn't have an appointment !!! It shocked us as we have one on our calendar. But we were very grateful that the front desk  fit us in anyway with Dr Lee. We were lucky as walk-ins usually get to see the vets after 6! We were there at 10 am. 

Megat's PCV has much improved to 35 and so we are confident that his marrow is doing its work. His weight is down though to 3.35 from 3.4. He is losing weight slowly but steadily so Dr Lee rec that that I give him 2 mg if the cypro daily although we know some cats do not do well on it. We hope that Megat continues to do well on it. The last time we have him the cypro was last week and he has been eating only his Vit B to increase his appetite. 

He also had his Laurabolin injections today as well.

Old things are best san...

Our supposedly better water fountain - all porcelain and antique glass but finally the cats had the final say, especially Bujang who prefers things tried and tested ..,

                       Yup...

Yes. Good ole things are best, even if they're plastic. The new fountain was pretty but I was quite afraid of it.
