FRIDAY
We hope you have great plans for the weekend. The good news is Megat does not have to go to the hospital as the vet had given him 2 weeks to rest and to eat his way to a better weight. Since his PCV was 35 on the last count (last week) he was also out of immediate danger. We went to see Dr Lalani on Monday and he had his ear unblocked and his kidneys strengthened. Dr Lalani was very happy with his progress as well.
All in all, we are a happy bunch and we give thanks for many things, first of all that all the amigos are well and the community cats are also in good health. We give thanks for this whole week that I had been able to spend more time with the kitties as I am on a one-week school break. We give thanks that Megat has been able to eat alot more food by himself, taking in several mouthfuls of tuna or chicken in gravy. We had given him Fancy Feast as we saw that a lot of the kitties like it. Ms Akira likes it as well but not the rest of the boys. We continue to give him the 2mg cypro daily as advised by our vet as well. We think this is why he was able to eat more food during the day as he is alot more hungry.
Great photos of all of you. We are crossing paws for Megat and glad he is staying home!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Thanksgiving indeed that Megat is eating better. My cat had most the side-effects of cypro on Tanya's crf & appetite did not improve... every cat is unique. Eat & stay well Megat.
ReplyDeleteSounds very positive. Keep up the good work. Happy weekend Hugs GJ x
