This was the picture of my cat Megat that I wanted to post yesterday. He was a good cat and tried his best. Being a commcat he was fierce and aggressive when he came and beat up all the kitties ‘before they beat (me) up.’ Ms Akira was terrified of him and there was a great fight. Later from Fern I found out that he was afraid of Ms Akira and he thought she was going to beat him up first. But later in his life when he was unwell he did say to her that he had no more energy and he won’t be mean to her anymore. Once I remembered him asking if his body would remain when he joined Toro. All in all, he was a brave Miracle cat.
2 months before he passed, he looked very well.
Rezki of cos has no such problems with health, and his kidneys are doing much better. His only problem was finding his place in a family of 4 senior cats. Last week, he did say he felt as though they were ‘picking on him’ but he is happy to be with us. I think the kitties are a little tired of being picked on by him and are now up in arms. Even Bujang had given up being an observer and is now taking an active role in discipline.
I thought the banner needs updating. The pics were taken this morning except for Bujang's one. His was taken last night. It's a little blurry as usual.
We love your new banner, San. It was nice seeing Megat again, and Rez looks well in that photo. We purr that he and the seniors will come to a deeper and more peaceful understanding.

ReplyDeleteWhen cats ( or people) come from background where they must be strong to survive it is hard to give up that behavior. Survival instinct is very strong. Maybe by being disciplined by Bujang Rezki will understand what he should do.
We like your new banner. It is always fun to play around with new designs. Megat was a lovely gentleman and greatly missed.
