Tomorrow she is going for her ultra sound since her calcium is in the high range. The vet said that we have to see if she has cancer as that is the number one cause of a high calcium indicator. She is now resting but she won't be pleased when she is not given any breakfast tomorrow morning. We hope for the best and we need as many good thoughts as we can get.
UPDATE: the vet found nothing suspicious in anybody her organs. She was pleased that all her organs are as they should appear except her left kidney is a little smaller than her right. He said this was normal as kidneys have different functions. Her bladder though had echoes and he could see several spots but they could be just a blood clot or crystals. He said the antibiotic that Dr Tay had given her should help out in this case. He finally said he saw nothing alarming and there were no masses that could indicate cancer.
We give thanks for answered prayers. Hurrah, no obvious cancers! Please giver her lots of hugs and kisses from us. Sometimes there is a lab error or something that causes a false reading. Can she be retested? We are so happy for your darling girl! We join you in celebrating this happy news.
ReplyDeleteThat is just the best news. We are so happy for al of you!

The Chans
That is good news. But how awful the wait for the results must have been! We are pleased to see that Miss Akira does not have any troubling health matters and is well. We hope Miss Akira had an extra helping of breakfast.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness that the test results came back so good. We are happy for Miss Akira, and you!
