We will always think of you as the quiet kitty who lived life on your own terms. Run free Mera. There will be no more bad teeth, sore gums or even hurt hearts.
Mera left us to run free last Sunday 15 Jan at 12.20 am- quietly sitting with cat_aunty. We will miss him.
PS Cat_aunty said that it was sepsis and toxic shock.
We send you soft purrs to comfort you on your loss of Mera...we know how still waters run deep.
ReplyDeleteYou were a gorgeous kitty, Mera, and we like the thought of you running free, healthy again, although we know you will be missed.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I'd been following his antics in Cat Aunty's blog for a long time. This is a sad moment for me. RIP to the sweet ginger boy.
ReplyDeleteMera is now free. I lost a stomatitis cat a couple of years ago and cat went thru such a lot of pain & suffering. Steroids do not work in the long-run; it makes it worse. Presently i have a cat w past persistent gum problems, cat had 8 back teeth removed over 2 surgeries and inflammation is kept in check. Surgeries are painful for days but nowhere as painful at end-stage stomatitis.
ReplyDeleteSo sad to hear about Mera.
ReplyDeleteWe came to tell you there is an award on our blog for you - please do come by to pick it up.
Sending gentle headbutttss to you and cat_aunty. Run free, Mera.
