Saturday Outside

This morning I brought Bujang downstairs as he was eager to be out. It is not often at all that we get to go out early. I agreed as it would be so much more noisy later as today being Saturday and the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year, a lot more people would be out.

It was not very not and the sun dappled the grass quite nicely. We saw some crows and pigeons already out.

It grew gradually hotter and a woman used the "hell money" bin provided by the town council. The ashes from the paper flew into the air and the acrid smoke filled our eyes so we had to move on to another park.

                                              The second park was better.

There are a few comcats here and so I guess that was what interested him more than anything else.

We spent some time here and then I thought it would be nice to just take a short walk around our flat and I brought him to the playground.

It was very breezy and we sat here quietly for half and hour or so. He sat in his carrier looking at the outside.

I was glad that no one was out at the playground but there were quite a number of people walking about from the car park to the other flats though.

Bujang decided to get out for a minute to investigate this big tree before getting back into his carrier. He did not like this place so much but I thin it's because this is not our usual haunt. We spent about 11/2 hours outside which is more than what we usually spend during weekdays. I am glad I was able to give him this quiet adventure.

Tanaka and I also went downstairs for a bit but he spent all of his time in the carrier. We went by the same route as Bujang and stayed at the same playground for a bit.

Tanaka was so quiet that a pigeon visited and walked around the carrier, oblivious to the cat inside:)

We didn't spend a long time at the playground as  a child and her father decided to join us. I brought him home and he decided that sitting here watching housework was so much better. The little lion was a gift from cousin r who bought  it for him yesterday.
