Quiet Saturday

 San and I spent Saturday morning watching tv. San said she planned for a lazy Saturday and  I agreed. Bujang finally fell asleep after  more than 12 hours awake because of the buprenorphine. San said she would tell the vets not to give this anymore.

Just hanging with san. This is always my favourite morning ritual before breakfast. 
 

Saturday News

 San has been chatting often with my vets as I had some issues with my medicines. But I think they have it all sorted out. Today I am seeing Dr L, my osteopath. I like him and he respects me. I am a senior cat and respect is important. I may not show san respect sometimes as I will bite her if she tries to give me medicines but she knows I love her. 

A Final Resting Place

Fly High Tanaka and Run Free

Rocket Tanaka went to the bridge on 4 June 2023 from triaditis complicated by bronchitis. He was 16 years old. He fought for many days when he came home from critical care. Goodbye Sweet Boy. We will see you soon.

The Sky Report

San said I am a very good Staff Nurse for my brother Bujang who has been unwell for 1.5 months. He fell off the coffee table because of an ear inflammation and is now learning to walk again. But I am a good helper and Bujang is now able to walk in the house quite well. 

Just Because

 San says maybe we should have special first day of the month posts. I am quite well and am maintaining a good weight. My vet advised san to try to lessen my inhalers.  San was very pleased and now I only have to breathe the steroid only once a day. 

A new week; A new bug

It was cold last night because of the rain. It had been raining non-stop during the Chinese New Year period and more beetles keep flying into my house. I decided to do my best to keep my house in order as san said she could not see the bugs without her glasses. Humans are pitiful that way. I also heard a little lizard walking in my kitchen this morning but san said that was for another day. She also told me the lizard could keep the other flying insects away but I think its best I take care of the bug problems in the house. After all, I am also called Little Warrior. 

NO! not for me!

 Our 7 year old sofa finally gave way this morning. San was sitting on it and it collapsed. So we are now using Sister S sofa bed while we wait for our new sofa to arrive. But san had to protect it from cat fur and could only find her batik bedsheet for it. But it was way too much for me. 

Cuddle

I asked san if I can cuddle with Tanaka and Bujang. San said I shouldn’t try that as they can get upset and slap me

 So I cuddled with her instead. We try to do this every night before I go to bed. I think it’s pretty good.
