Calm Tuesday on Quiet Wednesday

Bujang went for his evening walk yesterday. He persuaded me that it was not too hot, it was just right for a cat who likes walking :)

He would usually gulp down his food and wait for me at the door but when it is time to go down, he would make a great fuss and has to be persuaded to wear his harness. If I decide that it was too much trouble, then he would come close to me and look pretty sad or come right up close and stare me down.

We met a woman at the void deck who admired his harness and she asked me how she could get her cat to walk with one. We discussed the finer points of leash training :) Maybe one of these days, I would see another cat in a harness going for a walk.

At this point, we would like to wish our friend Barley a Happy Gotcha Day. She has been with cat_aunty for a whole year and is now living the good life.:)

Monday Quiet

 An easy Monday for Toro on his favourite napping place...

 WHAT? What are you doing here on Monday? On holiday? 

 After a few seconds of looking at me, he decided to surrender and allow me to take some easy Monday pictures :)

Some sun and a gentle breeze are all it took to calm him :) Maybe he likes it here as the Felliway diffuser is there plugged in 24/7...hmmm...

Tanaka will always do as he pleases and doesn't hang out with the others...unless there are scritches involved!

In other news: Jeffrey Boy

Yes I am back and I _AM_NOT_GOING into any other carrier again. I just want to tell you this!

We brought Jeffrey Boy back on Tuesday 1 May. He got sick at the sanctuary and went to the clinic twice for flu. Then he recuperated away from here but as he was getting better, we brought him home. The vet said his flu acted up as he was stressed when we took him away from his carpark. He was not happy at the shelter and so all of us (the caregiver included) thought he should just come back home.  When he got back, he recce'd his territory carefully and the next day we saw him lounging about at his usual place. On the downside, the grey female kitty who shares the territory is making herself scarce so feeding her in the evening is more difficult as we sometimes have to look for her.

 TGIF! Woohoo...3 day weekend! I'm sure I would have more walks downstairs...I don't think it would rain today. Yesterday I went downstairs and I hope today I can also go down and tomorrow and tomorrow...I hope.

Time for more napsss....zzz...s.s..z

Thotful Thursday

I like sitting here, on top of this cupboard. There is only space for one cat so whoever gets here first, gets the space. It is also close to the window so it is nice and warm. I can get here from san's headboard as well. Its just a small jump away. Lazy afernoons spent here are the best. Its also quiet as no one enters san's room in the afternoon but me :)

I get to sit here every Saturday and Sunday as the boys would be outside in the early morning. This was last Sunday's picture. san wanted to have an Easy Peasy Sunday post but she had to get a haircut and run errands to buy cat food and such. Then she went to see a movie called Mirror!Mirror! She said it was ok :)

My favourite pose is always horizontal :) Aren't my whiskers nice? san told me to pose carefully so she can have a good picture of them. She wanted to get th other side but I protested and refused to do that! Enough is enough I say.
