Finally Friday

Here I am lying with san. She has to be at work a little later so we can spend some time together. I got a lion cut and so am feeling much better and less hot. But san told me that the next cut would not be so short as it would be good to also look as cute as I feel if my fur was longer on top. I am also feeling easier in my heart as I am home with my two brothers - the tux is easier for me to understand but the orange one still confuses me.

Final Friday Thoughts with Sky

Sorry san. I forgot it was sleep time and chased Tanaka. I was just  only looking for a place to sleep when I saw him on his bed. Can I try again? 

Shenanigans...NOPE!

Tanaka was trying to comfort Sky who was inside the room 2 days ago. I had to close the door as she could jump over the black gate and as she would be unsupervised, I could not take the chance.

Sky last night. She decided to sleep on the bed for a bit. Later she decided to sleep under the cupboard as Bujang had hissed at her twice and showed her his paw once. He is a stickler for personal space. After that, all of us got a good night's sleep, even her.

This morning, she was happily grooming herself on the bed and in the a/c. 

san decided to allow me to sleep with everyone. It sometimes rains and thunders at night and I am afraid of both. I told her for two days about it and she had made some re-arrangements for all of us. So last night I slept with my brothers and san. It was a little crowded but I was not afraid to sleep. Bujang told me to be quiet and rest so I did as told. I think san would allow me to sleep in the bedroom from now. Yippee!

 Surprisingly Bujang and Sky took to each other very easily. He hissed at her once or twice and these days they always take time to sit together. 

Tanaka Tuesday

Its been a long time since I am here at all. I am having a hard time with Sky. I had never seen such a cat before. She kept looking at me and she chased me as well. She is a strange creature. Today san had to close the door so she doesn't jump over the black gate. 

 

Rainbow Bridge Service

 The yellow urn is for Sky's 4 stillborn kittens. I thought close enough to Totoro's urn and much more light.

Last night we finally did the rainbow bridge service for Skywalker's 4 stillborn kittens and also for my kitty Ms Akira. It was a long time coming for both. We closed our eyes and thought only of good memories when we sent them off. The kittens, according to Chris did not know they had died and chased and played with each other and Ms Akira. Ms Akira was irate at having kittens following her about but we said it could not be helped as we did the service for both of them at the same time. I asked Chris if Sky remembered her kittens but Chris said she was very busy with learning and her new life and being happy. We will only tell her if she asks about them. It seemed to be the best in the circumstances.

Finally Friday

 

Although it is already October, the days are still hot and the nights humid. I am afraid she will get too hot with all that fur. I will have to see about a grooming schedule for her with a groomer whom she likes. Also I will need to get another pillow as I had given away the rest of Popps pillows to a cat shelter.

She is much more confident these days and had yelled at Tanaka once or twice. It surprised me as she likes Tanaka and watches him obsessively. Nevertheless, the both of them had come to some kind of agreement and I see more of Tanaka out in the living room these days with the rest of us. It has been about 14 days since she arrived at the house.

She has lost her signature sad look. These days she looks like a cat with a plan. I am glad it did not take such a long time for her to get here. 

Tuesday with my family

 As was having breakfast but I decided she needed company. Today is the last day she is on sick leave so I wanted to be with her. What was good was my 2 brothers also decided  to be outside and so we were all together. Tanaka saw me but he walked anyway so san was very impressed with his courage. I on the other hand was glad as I like him and perhaps one day he would play with me.
