This morning, I decided to leave the door of the cage unlatched and before I knew it, Bujang got in and started to sniff around. I was curious to see what he thought of it but I guess he did not think very much of it as he did a 360 degrees turn and got out again :) He had used the litter once or twice though. I am always amazed how such a big cat can use such a small bin and neatly too.

Thursday rains
Thursday afternoon rained on us. The days have been getting wetter and wetter. of course this is no surprise as its November, our rainy season. The kitties are all warmly tucked in. We do appreciate the fact that it rains only in the evenings and the mornings are fine.
Fling-a-ma-string in action
Toro is the only kitty in the house that genuinely likes the new toy. Its quite hypnotizing - the sound as well as the movt. The movt is not random enough to attract the boys all the time. They just sit there staring at it, up and down :) Not one of my successful purchases I must say.

Oh dear grandma...
I hope grandma gets well soon...
Oh dear...its too scary...
I fink all will be well wif grandma and effuryone this morning....
Last night while we were giving Megat his supplements, grandma fell quite hard and her forehead bled. Cousin R and I immediately put Megat in his cage and put grandma in her chair and brought her to the doctor. The amigos were all very shocked at the sudden flurry in our otherwise slow household situation and they all ran for cover. Poor kitties !
It was fortunate that there were only a few people there at about 8.30 pm. We got to see the doctor first and grandma has 4 stitches on her forehead. When we got home, none of the kitties came out of the room but after we settled grandma (and became calmer ourselves), Bujang came out but peeked out timidly from behind a wall. He looked scared and uncertain. Tanaka of course was curious and came to sniff at grandma from a distance. Cousin R and I talked softly to them and offere dthem treats and after abit they all came out to sniff at grandma and everyone settled down well.
This morning grandma told me that Bujang and Toro came to sit with her on her bed. She was very pleased. I told her the kitties always know if anyone in the house needed comforting. We are both gald to have all of them with us.
Btw grandma is better apart from a purple bruise around her eye. she is very cheerful and watched her favourite soap opera:) We were all very relieved.
