New Cat-It

The water spurts out from the middle. Its much neater and quieter.

One of our Cat-Its said its last goodbye yesterday. It was the one that Toro likes to drink from. I then put a big bowl of water, which he ignored most of the day. I think he was used to drinking water from the fountain and needed some time to re-adjust. i thought he would get the hang of it this morning but to no avail. We have 2 other Cat-Its in different parts of the house but as he likes this particular place and he drinks water regularly from there, grandma thought we should get him another one. Also, we needed him to drink more water as he had UTI some months ago. Then of course there were the accidents of the boys kicking the bowl over when they were playing and chasing each other last night.

PL only had the Dog-It left and then there was this one. I had seen this one in the net and I read good reviews and so I bought it. its much easier to dismantle and clean. But Toro, true to form, has just walked past it and taken a few sniffs. It would take one more day or until he sees some other kitty use it. Megat took to it immediately though. But then megat is very brave to try new things unlike Toro and Bujang.

Do the catnip!

Ooohhh catnip!
Tanaka on the other hand was busy inspecting the catnip!
Toro took a good sniff...
and decided to have a quick lie-in...
Resting after that exhausting dance!

I decided to give the kitties new scratch boards as their old ones were ratty and I it was then that I realised that they had quite a few. 9 horizontal boards to share among 4 boys! They have 2 in each bastant, 3 in the big box under the table and 2 under my bed. Then we also have 2 vertical ones and 1 mat, which is a favourite. Ms Akira prefers the vertical ones. Maybe that is why none of them have made mincemeat of grandma's sofa...yet.

Tis a skill...

Firstly you find a convenient spot...
Then you go in slowly...
If you miss a step..go out again...
There you go...all in...
Turn around and relax ...zzz

Easy Peasy Sunday

Easily waiting at the door for Ms Akira
Easily guarding the doorway to the kitchen...
Easily waiting for the rest of Sunday to roll on by...
Easily cuddling up in a favourite mattress...

Monkey Business

I wonder whose monkeys have escaped...

There was a great deal of furor in the neighbourhood. This evening Cousin r saw a whole bunch of policemen hanging around FatBoy's area. the old aunty (who will be moving house soon) told her that there were 2 monkeys on the loose and the policemen had got them up a tree. All were waiting for the people from the zoo to appear to catch them. It seemed that these 2 monkeys had been on the loose since a few days ago in another area.

I think they belong to some residents as where would the monkeys come from- PR being reclaimed land and we have no green to talk about. So they could only belong to some crazy residents who think that monkeys are pets and not wild animals. When will people learn to leave Nature alone.

I suppose we will read about this in the papers tomorrow and learn the truth. I hope the moneys will be okay.

Sunday Naps

Naps on Sunday are precious. This is becauz we can then frighten san and grandma when we race wif each offur later. Then grandma would shout 'Ooiiiii....my coffee...naughty cats!" We love to frighten san and grandma but offur cos since we are cats, we can jump over coffee cups and tea cups and whatever is on the table. ..hee..heee

It is amazing to me that even Megat has taken to running with the boys. They chase him and then he chases them. I sometimes worry that they might be harassing him but these days, he seems to harass them also. So all in all, everything is fair in sickness and in health :)

Sunday Portfolio for Totoro

My Fed-Up Look
Ohoh..did I furrget somefing?
Finking offur toona...
Looking into the distance...fur toona...

I must say if you want a picture opportunity for a kitty, Toro would be the perfect model as he likes taking pictures when he's relaxed. :) He can give you many poses for a kitty. i think if he was human, he would be a super model.

My Best Pic

Don't you agree?
