Whee! Gotcha Day outside

I told Bujang that even though it was his Gotcha day (the day I rescued him and brought him home), I can't bring him out to the park as I had wanted to as the day was hazy and hot. I knew he would not want to get out of his carrier when he smells the burnt-scented air. I had many experiences of this kind with him before and so I am a much wiser person now. :))

So I put him in his walking jacket but he still seemed reluctant to get outside. Maybe he didn't want a lungful of haze :))

He finally relented but spent quite a long time grooming himself and cleaning his already-long-nails. Maybe this is a sign that I should be careful what I make him do on his Gotcha day... have nails will hurt.

Toro was not much bothered by the smell of burning in the air and decided to display his joy at being out with a good swish of his tail :) He is always ready to play and explore.

Oh...isn't my tail quite glorious?

Ms Akira decided to celebrate Bujang's Gotcha day by exploring the plants and getting out of her scaredy-cat skin. She had quite a nice time exploring as the day was quiet and we were all quite relaxed.

Ms Akira exploring the exact same spot Bujang was exploring some days ago. I can see only peeling paint but cat_aunty said probably a cat sees more than I would. I guess she is right as Akira, Bujang and even Toro showed a great deal of interest in this spot.

Gotcha Day

What will happen to our blog I wonder? Would be we erased and all our history be wiped out? Hmmmm....

Tomorrow will be 6th of October which is Bujang's Gotcha day. I won't be putting him in his jumper :) but have bought him a nice green collar to celebrate the occasion. Since tomorrow is Friday and I may be able to get off work about 2 pm. I think I will bring him out to the park if its not too hot or too hazy.

I have not been blogging for some days as I have been very busy doing work and burning midnight oil. Toro and Bujang have been very good helpers as they would both sit on the bed to wait for me to complete my assignments.

When I am a little more free to blog, I get email from Blogger and have been issued with a note to say that they are investigating my blog as it is suspected that my blog is a spam thingee. Imagine that!

Also now I have a call from someone who says he would like to either sell his persian cats (male and female) or to get them adopted. WOAH! I remembered he told me that his cats have not been eating well and I had given him some advice to get his cats better food and nutrition. Anyway I advised him to go to the cat welfare site and possibly put his cats up for adoption if he felt he cannot take care of them.

I understand you can sell a cat for XX amount of money but I wonder how much you would sell your pet for, persian or not? Hmmm....

Spammers Ahoy!

I have been named as a prospective spammer this morning 5th Oct and thus I have to save this entry as draft before I am allowed to publish my little cat tales on the web:) It says that I have been identified by Blogger's spam-prevention robots to be a bad guy :) I find it quite amusing(now) that I have been identified as one of the 'bad guys' as I have always been quite a good citizen of the web. :) It would take the Blogger robots one whole day to pronounce me spammer or 'spammed' as the case may be. The only horrible thing is I have to date written some 600 entries and I shudder to think of all that work down the spamming tubes and my poor amigos with me.
I wonder if I can retrieve all my information and migrate to another blog service. I have seen many different types of blogs. I would be sorry to have my cats' history erased though :(
So I guess the amigos and I would just have to find some other way to amuse ourselves. Of cos playing with water in the bath is not environmentally-friendly although it does look pretty inviting.

It time to sleep

...going...goingzz

...gonezzzz....

Ms Akira showing the way that all good cats go when they live in an apartment and have to sync with the people who share it. After an afternoon of sitting in front of the house, getting scared by the sound of water (the corridor was being cleaned) , running in and out of the cat tunnel, eating dinner and playing with the cat dancer, its time for bed....

Monday Blues? Not with us....

Oh these little ones... they are vexations to my spirit...

Maybe a nap will do me good. Maybe when I wake up, they will disappear...

Tunnel Vision

The kitties looking at their toys in the tunnel. Hmmm..what toy don't we want anymore...lets see..

Toro taking a time-out

Ms Akira trying to see if she can jump on Toro and scare him out of his fur...

Ms Akira in a contemplative mood

Ahhhh..I am so tired...

Let me get comfortable here..uhum..

Toro sleeping with his eyes open... and he stayed asleep for a full 15 minutes on this cat tree, near the window with a nice breeze flowing in...

He decided later to get comfortable on the couch and accompanied me as I was doing work.

There is nothing more comfortable than sleeping on the couch, all by himself as he slept right smack in the middle, with the fan blowing.

Homework pal

Yesterday I had to do some work at home and had worked until 3 am. Toro decided to keep me company and even helped me to hold down the pages as the fan kept blowing the pages up :))

Thanks Toro. You're a real pal :)

Sunday bytes

Ms Akira welcoming Sunday into the house :)

Let me try it again please...

No I don't think you can sit in here Bujang. San is giving this away to the little kitties!

The amigos hanging out together. Toro doesn't like sitting in any of these baskets but the other 2 likes them quite alot. The one on the right now belongs to Bujnag as he sits in it every day. I am giving away the darker one as none of them showed any inclination to sit in it for a long time. But it is just like cats to use it on the day that you want to give something away!

Toro relaxing near the baskets and spreading out to his full length to show whose baskets these were really...

New addition to the family

This is one of the cats that my cousin had adopted yesterday. She is very pretty with blue-green eyes and everyone who saw her yesterday remarked on how pretty she was. :) She is 5 months and will be spayed next month with her tuxedo brother. She is rather shy and spent all of last night under the bed but the brother spent the night in bed with my cousin :) My cousin's son had named her Lilo.

My cousin got all the cat paraphenalia yesterday too from a bling collar to a giant scratch board. He has also bought 3 big rolls of mesh and spent all last night after break fast meshing up his windows and door grills. It seems the kitties spent some time infront of his aquarium looking at tropical fish. :)) I am glad he had taken our advice about keeping his cats safe from falling out of dangerous windows. I am sure M would be glad to know that her cats will be safe with them :)
