Run Free Rezki

My cat Rezki suffered from Feline Aortic Thromboembolism (FATE) early on 1st May 22. The vet said he had a heart murmur and his clot blocked the arteries at his hips. As a consequence his legs were disabled and he could not walk. He fell off the kitchen counter and dragged himself to the living room. He passed away soon after I brought him to the vet.
He was a cat full of shenanigans and grand plans of becoming boss. He became boss early this year and worked hard to take care of the others. He was only six years old, an ex-community kitty. He was a firecracker and was afraid of nothing.

Thanks to #1 for her very kind tribute and the nice lady at Meezers' Mews for this beautiful button.

A little note from Rezki, our gangsta boy from Chris, our ac.

He's sorry he left so sudden. He wants to make sure you are safe always. Though he cannot execute his major plan which he nv say what, he is glad to be part of the household. He will be joining the rest to look after the house.

Rez said that he wanted to his urn to be in the bedroom but his message was hijacked by his brother Totoro who said 'they all wanted to be inside, away from the sun but on a nice shelf but must be arranged nicely from first to last' So I decided to shift them all and now they are all together.

From left - Totoro, Megat, Akira, Poppy and Rezki. I am waiting for Rez's black cat to be here from China.

  2. We were so terribly sad to hear about our pal, Rez. We followed him from the moment you took him in as a foster, and then rejoiced at the foster fail. He was so full of life and fun, and it seems so unfair that he heft so soon.

We love the way everyone's urns are arranged to be together. We like Toro-Chan's idea!

  3. It's very unfair that he had to leave at such an early age, and so soon after becoming boss. But that face of his says that he was everything you described him as. Godspeed, Rezki.

We are so sad to know of Rezki’s passing. At least he had a chance to have the boss cat job if only for a short time. He was a delightful cat with an amazingly beautiful face. He will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
