be a house painter...
Fearless Tanaka sat calmly watching the painter do his work. After watching for some seconds, he decided he would like to participate and proceeded to paw at the paint can! No Fear Tanaka thinks everything and everyone is safe. He is a truly confident kitty unlike Toro who sat way behind him, watching from a place of safety :)
Pls keep your kitties away from the pail of paint. It's toxic.
ReplyDeleteI had one kitty who died because she accidentally jumped into a pail of paint when she was spooked. She tried to lick the paint off her coat of fur and died b'cos of poisoning. Pls don't repeat my mistake.
Dear suzana
ReplyDeleteThank you for this warning. I should have said Tanaka tried to paw at the paint can :) I had to close the door then as I thought it was a dangerous thing. I am sorry you had lost your cat through such a tragic accident.
Did the contractor pay your cats to be supervisors?? I like the hands-on "Supervisor" Tanaka - trying to paw the paint. Is it trying to check for the right colour?
ReplyDeleteIt is recommended that children's furniture be painted with lead-free paint. Wonder if it would be applicable to our cats. I know my cats love to rub their heads on grid of windows. Sometimes they even rub their gums (don't ask why) against the grid. I have attached plastic sheeting to grids but that makes for poor ventilation.
