A new week; A new bug

It was cold last night because of the rain. It had been raining non-stop during the Chinese New Year period and more beetles keep flying into my house. I decided to do my best to keep my house in order as san said she could not see the bugs without her glasses. Humans are pitiful that way. I also heard a little lizard walking in my kitchen this morning but san said that was for another day. She also told me the lizard could keep the other flying insects away but I think its best I take care of the bug problems in the house. After all, I am also called Little Warrior. 

NO! not for me!

 Our 7 year old sofa finally gave way this morning. San was sitting on it and it collapsed. So we are now using Sister S sofa bed while we wait for our new sofa to arrive. But san had to protect it from cat fur and could only find her batik bedsheet for it. But it was way too much for me. 

Cuddle

I asked san if I can cuddle with Tanaka and Bujang. San said I shouldn’t try that as they can get upset and slap me

 So I cuddled with her instead. We try to do this every night before I go to bed. I think it’s pretty good.

Recycling

I helped san with the boxes in the storeroom. She didn’t know she had so many from last year’s spring cleaning. So I said perhaps they needed to go to recycling. She told me that it was a good idea and I was very helpful.

Our corridor yesterday

What our corridor usually looks like

Yesterday was a quiet Sunday with no birds outside. San had removed all the plants and put them away since our neighbours are moving and they have big furniture. San promised to put the plants back again in a few days. I should hope so! It was so boring without the birds and so hot as well without the plants to give us some shade. 

Just Hanging

Yesterday afternoon mama came home early and we decided to just hang out together. She read her novel (she has 2 more to read from her self-imposed quota of 9 for last month). But I got very sleepy looking at her read and I took a nap with my eyes open and my head high. This was so she would think I was with her throughout as I like sitting with her in the bed.
