All 5 captured on film. Popps decided to sit in her room but she came close to the door for a picture. Usually she would just sit and relax once evening came on. 

Akira's 12 Gotcha Day

We celebrated Akira's birthday yesterday although she was gotched on 21 Feb. She was gotched from the SPCA. When she came to the house she was fearsome and independent and fell in love with Bujang, who admittedly was my only other cat. Now she is well on her way to getting her groove back with the help of many people and cats alike.

 

I got her this collar just for her birthday. She looks like a sunny sunflower and it goes well with her calico markings. 

 

She loves this tuna mousse and she would eat almost anything if she gets this at the end of it. So she now eats all her tcm and not spit any of it as she gets the mousse at the end. So she swallows her meds as she swallows the mousse.

The tuna mousse that she simply loves. When it's time for her to take pills I know I can pull her if I put it in this mousse, that is if she still likes it then. 

Wednesday Whisperz

 

Afternoons whisper gently to Popps. She usually naps them away here where it's warm with soft beeezes. 

Rezki on treats

Here Rezki is leading the way to the kitchen where he sleeps at night. Every one of the amigos has a special place to sleep so they feel comfortable. Rezki knows the routines of the house very well. 

When it's time for bed I will call him from wherever he is as he is usually either napping on top of Akira's cage or in one of the cat napping areas in the living room.  I will shake the Friskies treats pack and he will very calmly lead the way to the kitchen, his tummy swinging. He will wait by his kibble bowl and look at me, inspect the number of treats he gets and then get down to business. 

It's his fav time of the day. 

Bujang in the park

 

Bujang told Fern that he wanted to walk more and that he misses walking downstairs. So this morning, after his walk at the usual place, I brought him to the same park that he goes riding in. Then he decided that he wanted to walk. 

 

He walked along the ixora bushes as well. He loves the smell of ixora flowers. 

 

He had quite an adventure and did not want to come home. But I had to carry him back into his carrier as some people were cleaning the dead leaves in the park using a big blower. I knew he would be scared and upset so we went home. He had  more than an hour walking about so he was happy.

Finally I found this collar at a pet store when I was online. It is not a virtual store but it did offer online purchases.  It came yesterday and I immediately make Akira wear it. 

 

I was afraid it would be too heavy as Akira goes to Adrian for spine alignment as well as her muscles. But I saw she was able to manipulate the collar by herself and this collar does flop down on her body if she hits a wall. This means she can move around quite freely and won't be hindered at all. 

 

This pic shows that she can sit on my lap quite comfortable and rest her head on the petals. It's also soft and pliable but not floppy. I am hopeful that we have found a solution for Ms Akira. 

Finally

We are glad to be able to bring you the best pictures of our week. It has not been the most exciting but these days we try to achieve uneventfulness. San says the more uneventful the better.
